THE FALL GUY (Movie Review) 🍿
Ryan Gosling is a stunt man in love with Camerawoman Emily Blunt. He has a bad accident and crawls away to hide from the world. 18 months later, he is told that his ex is now directing her first movie and has specifically asked for him to help. He, of course, rushes to the rescue only to find that she doesn't want him and that the Producer (Hannah Waddingham - Ted Lasso) lied to him to get him to help find the missing star of the show, the man that he used to double for. Winston Duke (Black Panther) helps our hero fight the bad guys as his friend and stunt director. Chaos ensues.
There is non-stop action, plot twists, male bonding, goofy costumes, sad-looking props and some great dialogue until the final big confrontation and the guy gets the girl.
It is a fun movie. Popcorn-worthy. And there's a post-credit cameo with Lee Majors and Heather Thomas, though Thomas looked more like she was there for an episode of Botched.
