Hi, I did see this movie, about twice. The elements they introduced in the movie were the only way Finney had to escape, otherwise, he would have been just another one of the bunch that wasn't coming back. I don't quite remember the grille scene, if you put it back in, wow, he couldn't escape, it looked easy, if it was like that everyone would have done it. If there are rumors of a kidnapper, the parents should have taken precautions, but that's what the movie is about, it's fiction to develop it, even if some elements seem absurd. I didn't know there is a sequel coming, I'd like to see it. Greetings.

Thank you for your nice comment. Yes, I just found out that the sequel to this movie is coming. I think it's a very high quality one and I hope the sequel will be of the same quality.
