There hasn't been a review of movie earnings for a long time. This is due to the fact that after a shorter, slightly better period for cinemas, we did not receive any new, large films. Inside Out 2 will appear on D+ soon, and Deadpool vs. Wolverine and Alien: Romulus will appear a little later, so they won't earn much more. Inside Out was 18 million short of $1 billion and $700 million. I thought it would reach this level, but I was wrong. The third part of Deadpool also did not earn 1.5 billion, but 1.3 billion with a slight excess, which is still a great result.
Alien earned just over PLN 331 million, which is a good result for a recognizable franchise, but a bit spoiled by too many weak productions, which guarantees us a continuation. I haven't seen it yet, but I have a feeling that this year for Christmas I will watch the entire Alien series and Rambo parts 1 and 2. Beetlejuice 2 had a slightly worse result, but I expected much worse. 267 million against a budget of 90 - 100 million, this is quite a good result. This one will probably grow by a dozen or so million (Because it has good reviews - apparently it's upper middle class, so it's a rather good production), then it will earn some money on VOD, Streaming... It could have been better, but quite a lot of people speculated that it would be a financial flop , so we can talk about moderate success. Bad Boys 4 stopped at 426.5 million.
In terms of losers, Borderlands slightly topped the $32.5 million mark. Trap exceeded $81.5 million (which, considering a budget of $30 million and a minimal advertising campaign, is quite a good result). Horizon did slightly better than Borderlands, earning $3 million more. Blink Twice, Zoe Kravitz's directorial debut, grossed $43 million. A successful debut, especially since due to positive reviews, the film will still earn some money in cinemas and then on VOD.

Od dawna nie było przeglądu zarobków filmów. Wynika to z tego, że po krótszym, nieco lepszym okresie dla kin, nie dostaliśmy żadnego nowego, dużego filmu. Niedługo na D+ pojawi się Inside Out 2, a Deadpool vs Wolverine i Alien: Romulus nieco później, więc wiele więcej nie zarobią. Inside Out do 1 miliarda i 700 milionów dolarów zabrakło 18 milionów. Myślałem że dojdzie do tego poziomu, ale pomyliłem się. Trzecia część Deadpool również nie zarobiła 1.5 miliarda, ale 1.3 miliarda z lekkim nadmiarem, to ciągle świetny wynik.
Alien zarobił nieco ponad 331 milionów, co jak na rozpoznawalną, ale trochę popsutą przez zbyt wiele słabych produkcji, franczyzę, jest dobrym wynikiem, który gwarantuje nam kontynuację. Jeszcze go nie widziałem, ale coś czuję że w tym roku na święta Bożego Narodzenia obejrzę całą serię Alien oraz 1 i 2 część Rambo. Nieco gorszy wynik zaliczył Beetlejuice 2, ale spodziewałem się dużo gorszego. 267 milionów przy 90 - 100 milionach budżetu, to całkiem niezły wynik. Ten urośnie pewnie jeszcze o kilkanaście milionów (Bo ma dobre recenzje - podobno to wyższe stany średnie, czyli raczej niezła produkcja), potem zarobi trochę na VOD, Streamingu... Mogło być lepiej, ale dość wielu ludzi spekulowało, że to będzie klapa finansowa, więc można mówić o umiarkowanym sukcesie. Bad Boys 4 zatrzymało się na 426.5 milionach.
Jeśli chodzi o przegranych, Borderlands nieco przekroczył kwotę 32.5 milionów dolarów. Trap przekroczyło 81.5 miliona dolarów (co przy budżecie 30 milionów i minimalnej kampanii reklamowej, jest całkiem niezłym wynikiem). Horizon poradził sobie troszkę lepiej niż Borderlands, zarabiając 3 miliony więcej. Blink Twice, debiut reżyserski Zoe Kravitz, zarobił 43 miliony dolarów. Udany debiut, tym bardziej że ze względu na pozytywne oceny, film jeszcze trochę zarobi w kinach, a potem na VOD.
