I only played the game's DLC (I was so bored with part 1 that I'm not going to play part 2 until it comes to PS+ for free), I don't know the comics, I liked the animation. I'd love to see this incarnation of Spider-Man.

The new Pixar movie quickly passed 700 million, so it was already starting to make money (the budget was 200, so even if the movie had a large marketing budget, 500 million was enough to cover its costs).
