Movie review : White noise 2005

I recently watched the movie produced in 2005,the "white noise" and recently I noticed that there is another movie called "white noise" produced in 2022, I don't know if it's a continuation of the first or just different movies.

The movie is classified as a horror movie where a man named Jonathan tried to commune with his dead wife who was pregnant to know the source or the cause of her drowning. So through a set of tvs, he tries to discern voices through white plain tvs with faint images. In the process, he gets to see and hear people calling out for help right before something tragic happens to them. For instance, in the course of listening through, he figured a lady asking for help and seeing some images on the screen directed him to the place. He was able to save the baby from the accident but could not spare the mother.

In trying to make contact with the dead could be dangerous, a blind psychic lady had warned him not to meddle in the affairs or he would get hurt but he was determined to find out. Even his friend Sarah was a victim of the demonic possession of the three spirits that made her fall from a high story building even while be watched.

In the end it was discovered that Jonathan's coworker was behind it as he was been possessed by the three spirits to kill people. While Jonathan tried to stop him, the spirits or ghosts attacked him, which led to his death and breaking his limbs.

Before more damage could be done, the corps arrived in time to save Anna, a captured victim who was just about to be killed.

An interesting thing happened at the funeral of Jonathan when suddenly in the car where Jonathan's 7year old son was, someone in the radio started saying "I am sorry" repeatedly. The smiled knowing fully well that it was his father.

In the movie, it shows that sometimes we just have to accept what comes to us and not meddle in affairs that can turn against us.
