"The girl with the needle" (Praise of movie masterpiece) / Wybitne dzieło filmowe - Dziewczyna z Igłą

The year 2025 started not so long ago, we managed to watch two films on the big (cinema) screen.

Biography of Bob Dylan and "The Girl with the Needle", the latter of which left me astonished at its cinematic craftsmanship.

Although the picture is hellishly gloomy, it has glimmers of hope and compassion (at least that's how I interpret even individual gestures, including those of characters who are almost extras), and the interpretation of small, unspoken gestures fits the culture of the Scandinavian country at the beginning of the 20th century.

The film, which I give a rating of 10/10 in my private review, surprises me that the name of the director, who has been active for a long time, has escaped me until now (Master - director, Magnus von Horn).
The picture is partly based on facts, which makes it bitter - I don't want to spoil the "pleasure" of watching it - I highly recommend it, although it is not a light or pleasant picture.

May a non-American film win as many Oscars as possible.

I probably spent a week denying myself the need to reflect on the film - but it deserved it many times over.

The recent reading of Anna Brzezińska's thick volume of prose "Jegielońskie Królowe" probably brought me back to the subject (of the film).

Motherhood (especially unwanted) and the mortality of children were important; and I would compare the realities of the 20th century (film) and the 16th century (book), different over the centuries - yet these two works overlap in my over-interpretation

Nie umiem pisać długich recenzji.
Rok 2025 zaczął się nie tak dawno temu, udało nam się obejrzeć dwa filmy na dużym (kinowym) ekranie.

Biografię Boba Dylana i "Dziewczynę z Igłą" ten ostatni wprawił mnie w osłupienie nad kinowym kunsztem.

Choć obraz to piekielnie ponury ma w sobie przebłyski nadziei i współczucia (przynajmniej ja tak interpretuje pojedyncze nawet gesty, włączając te ze strony postaci prawie że statystów) zresztą interpretacja drobnych niedopowiedzianych gestów pasuje mi do kultury kraju skandynawskiego początku XX wieku jak najbardziej.

Film któremu w swoim prywatnym rankingu daję ocenę 10/10 zadziwia mnie, że nazwisko reżysera od dawna aktywnego umknęło mi do tej pory (Mistrz - reżyser, Magnus von Horn).
Obraz częściowo na faktach co dodaje mu goryczy - nie chce wam psuć "przyjemności" z oglądania - gorąco polecam choć nie jest to obraz lekki ani przyjemny.
(jeśli przygnębi was za bardzo mówcie o nim jako "Dziewczyna z Igloo - to pomaga ;) )

Oby zgarnął najwięcej Oscarów ile tylko może film nieamerykański.

Chyba z tydzień wypierałem w sobie potrzebę refleksji nad filmem - zasłużył jednak na to po wielokroć.

Ostatnia lektura opasłego tomu prozy Anny Brzezińskiej "Jagiellońskie Królowe" chyba przywróciła mnie do tematyki (filmu).

Macierzyństwo (szczególnie niechciane) i śmiertelność maluchów były kreśl;i miałbym porównywać realia XX (film) i XVI (książka) różne na przestrzeni wieków - mimo to zazębiają się ze sobą te dwa dzieła w mojej nadinterpretacji-
