From Fiction to Reality: How Entertainment Media Influences Behavior

Now days the digital medial is one of the most famous medium of entertainment. We are living in the digital era and the technology changes my things around us and the source of entertainment one such thing. The availability of internet make is more suitable and provide the ease of accessibility to everyone. No matter in which in which part of the world you live the media form any corner of world is available to you through the internet just with some clicks. I am form India but along with Indian movies and series I love to see Hollywood and movies form other countries which not only give the idea about the culture of other places but also give the séance that we all are connected to each other.

If I look back like 10 to 15 year back, at that time the most of the movies were based on one theme only i.e. Love story. In the movie mostly the boy belongs to a poor family fall in love with a girl form a very rich family, and story moves around the difficulties they faces and at the end they get married. A happy ending love story. But if I look into todays movies and the series they all are based on varieties of topic and major of them shows the voidance, crime, fight etc. The online content is almost available to everyone if any way the media is connected to the internet and the smart phone with internet is available to even a small kid. In this way the video content which is full of the violence, fight, guns, drugs and blood is also easily available to the school going kids. The mind of a kid is like a clean slate and they easily get molded what they see, so its very alarming and scary situation for all of us parents.

Not only kids their are high chance that the adults also get inspired form such movies and they get committed the crime. One shows on one of the Indian TV channels is based on the real life crime (crimes related to the murders mostly), even it shows the story of the real solved cases and n the end the police arrest the guilty but it also give idea to the criminal mind set peoples how to commit the crimes easily and get rid of it. In real also I heard the stories of real crime in which the guilty person confesses that he get the idea for such serials. But this do not means that the producers stop producing such serials and the movies, actually they shows us the real facts and also shows what's going on around us in the society. Many of them gives the message which is for the betterment of society and us. based on the Newton's third law of motion - Every action has equal and opposite reaction, those movies and series also has action and reactions. For example I talked about one TV serial which is all about the crime cases, the main moto of such serials is to educate the viewers and make them more attentive about soh incidents. But we can control the ill minded peoples and society is full of such people.

The movies are made for the entertainment and some of then are based on the real incidents and some of them are frictional. Most of them has the massage they want to deliver to the society and I am not talking about some exceptional cases. They should be treated as the source of the entertainments but we can not control the others. And it is fact that the people get inspired or influenced by the stories they watch on screen. The inspiration can be positive or can be negative it all depends on the mindset of propel watching them. So just blaming such movies or criticizing or banning such movies never be a solution. The ill minded people can get idea by reading the News Paper or the New channel also. Its all about the mentality of people.
