Movie Review: God is African

Hello friends, happy weekend. I hope you are enjoying your weekend and the last days of 2023. It's holiday time and I have been watching a series of movies. I came across this one "God is African". Watched the movie and felt so emotional and it taught me many lessons.
This is my first time writing in this community and it feels good to have a community where you can talk and watch movies.

The name "God is African", doesn't mean that only the African or black people own God, I really don't know why the producer used that title but let's see beyond that. It is a Nollywood movie and this movie helped my faith and prayer life grow so well.

The movie talks about a woman who has been serving God for years and was looking for a child. Anytime she gets pregnant there must be miscarriage . She was so angry with God and decided not to worship God again.
Encouragement from her husband, pastor, and friends couldn't stop her decision.

Before she made this decision there was a boy she always prayed for because he was critically sick. After she vowed never to worship or trust God again, the sister of the boy came to meet her to pray for this. It was really hard for her to agree because he did have faith that God can do anything.
So after the beg from the boy's mum and sister she decided just to say a few prayers and after the prayers when she was Leaving their house, the boy immediately healed. This hasn't happened since when she was continually praying why now she says she won't serve God again.

That brought back her wait and she was pregnant again. This time the doctor advised her to remove the child and her womb because it would be risky to give birth to the child. She refused but was forced to. After the surgery was done she didn't want to believe that her womb was removed. She proclaimed that she still has a womb and will carry her child. The doctor, her husband and everyone around her was thinking she was running mad. Not until after months did she get pregnant without a womb. How is that possible, the doctor said? He has been a specialist in the medium field for years. First he didn't believe in God but after this miracle he believed that there was a God.

This movie lifted my spirit and faith so much that in any situation I am facing I should also have faith in God. If you're having a shaking faith, I suggest you watch this.
