While I don't know enough about these characters to know who everyone in the pictures are meant to be I can still appreciate the time and effort that went into their costumes. I especially like the guy who is the kid from UP

Yeah, lots of references to characters I’m simply not familiar with. Anime, web series, games I don’t play. Lots have changed in the cosplay game. I still love soaking it all in though as well.
