Review of Oppenheimer (no spoilers) [ESP/ENG]

The film tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist who led the Manhattan Project, that is, the project where the first atomic bomb was created, which unknowingly gave way to the so-called "atomic age", where the world competed for the most powerful bomb.

La película cuenta la historia de J. Robert Oppenheimer, el físico que dirigió el proyecto Manhattan, o sea, el proyecto donde se creó la primera bomba atómica, cosa que sin saberlo dio paso a la llamada "era atómica", donde el mundo se puso a competir por cual era la bomba más poderosa.

Ésta nos muestra tomas del pasado y del futuro. En el futuro, se muestran fragmentos de la vida de Oppenheimer, su tiempo como director del proyecto Manhattan, la audiencia donde su lealtad a Estados Unidos fue puesta en duda después de la guerra; en pocas palabras vemos aspectos importantes de la vida del hombre que le dio al mundo el arma más poderosa, jamás vista en la historia y que luego pasó el resto de su vida, tratando de desarmar ese mundo que lo acusaba de traidor.

La película está basada en el libro llamado "Prometeo Americano" de Kai Bird y Martin J. Sherwin, y se llama así porque la vida de Oppenheimer hace espejo con el mito de Prometeo, el cual fue el que le robó el fuego a los dioses para dárselo a los humanos y luego paso el resto de la eternidad siendo torturado por los dioses por esa traición. Algo similar pasó con Oppenheimer, ya que este le dio al mundo la bomba atómica, pero pasó el resto de vida tratando de decirle al mundo que dejaran de hacer bombas porque esto podría acabarnos, lo cual lo hundió, ya que al decir esto, lo tacharon de traidor.

Nolan quería que quedara claro que la película se trataba de la vida de este científico y del conflicto moral por darle al mundo el arma más poderosa de ese entonces.

The film is tremendous, Cillian Murphy's performance is tremendous and not to mention the bomb scene. In short, it's cinema, run to see it!

No es tan fácil decidir si estuvo bien o mal lo que hizo el científico, pues la película nos pone en tela de juicio, ya que nos muestra su faceta de científico y su lado moral. Esto es lo más cercano que vamos a estar de la mente de Oppenheimer, uno de los tipos más brillantes y terribles de la historia.

La película es tremenda, la actuación de Cillian Murphy es tremenda y ni hablar de la escena de la bomba. En definitiva es cine, corran a verla!!
