¡Feliz y bendecido día, amigos! De un momento a otro ya estamos más cerca de despedir otra semana y esto me indica que este mes se irá volando también 😵💫, aunque puede ser por el hecho de que han sido unos días bastante movidos y eso hace que se acentúe mi percepción de que el tiempo va muy rápido. Pero bueno, entre las muchas cosas que he podido hacer en estos días, está el poder volver al cine después de mucho tiempo, aproximadamente año y medio, ¿no es increíble? Mi esposo y yo amamos ir al cine y mientras vivimos en Caracas nuestras visitas eran más frecuentes, pero estar en una ciudad donde solo hay 1 y queda bastante retirado desde nuestro domicilio, no está fácil.
Happy and blessed day, friends! From one moment to another we are already closer to say goodbye to another week and this indicates to me that this month will fly away too 😵💫, although it may be due to the fact that these have been quite busy days and that accentuates my perception that time goes very fast. But well, among the many things I have been able to do these days, is being able to go back to the movies after a long time, about a year and a half, isn't it amazing? My husband and I love going to the movies and while we lived in Caracas our visits were more frequent, but being in a city where there is only 1 and it is quite far from our home, it is not easy.
| Sin embargo, logramos organizarnos por fin y decidimos ir a ver la película Dune 2, ya que mi esposo tenía muchas espectativas respecto a la misma, pero primero hicimos una parada en nuestro lugar favorito de comida rápida: McDonald's 🎉. Sé muy bien que actualmente hay muchas opciones de este tipo que ofrecen buena calidad y sabor, pero de vez en cuando nos gusta visitar esta franquicia porque nos trae muchos recuerdos de nuestra niñez, además de que amamos sus papitas y ese sabor tan característico que tienen sus hamburguesas. |
However, we managed to finally get organized and decided to go see the movie Dune 2, since my husband had a lot of expectations regarding it, but first we made a stop at our favorite fast food place: McDonald's 🎉. I know very well that nowadays there are many options of this type that offer good quality and taste, but from time to time we like to visit this franchise because it brings back many memories of our childhood, plus we love their fries and that characteristic flavor that their burgers have. |

Admito que primero verificamos los precios, porque bo estábamos dispuestos a pagar una locura tampoco, pero nos sorprendió ver que se vieron obligados a bajar los mismos(supongo que por la competencia) y gastamos $14 en 2 combos de Big Cheese burgers, que aunque con $10 podemos comer algo parecido, igual sentimos que valió totalmente la pena.
| Una vez que disfrutamos de nuestro almuerzo, fuimos a comprar las entradas del cine y las conseguimos a mitad de precio gracias a una promoción del día 😌. Debido a que era temprano aún nos tocó dar una vuelta por ese mini centro comercial, si se le puede decir así, nos tomamos un café y esperamos 1h deambulando por ahí. Afortunadamente no había cola para comprar las chucherías acostumbradas, pues me di cuenta que a esa hora está medio vacío el lugar, así que eso hizo más fácil y cómodo todo. | Once we enjoyed our lunch, we went to buy the movie tickets and got them at half price thanks to a promotion of the day 😌. Because it was early we still had to walk around that mini mall, if you can call it that, we had a coffee and waited 1h wandering around. Fortunately there was no line to buy the usual knick-knacks, as I noticed that at that hour the place is half empty, so that made everything easier and more comfortable. |

Con respecto a la película como tal no puedo decir mucho, entendí poco ya que no he visto la primera parte, pero pienso que aún si la hubiera visto, me hubiese parecido igual de aburrida. Primero, fue innecesariamente larga, segundo, siento que no pasó nada interesante en todo ese tiempo y tercero, no me despertó ninguna emoción. Lo único que puedo resaltar fue el vestuario y maquillaje, además de que los efectos especiales cumplieron totalmente. Las actuaciones no estuvieron mal, pero siento que tenía varios actores que pudieron dar mucho más pero el guión no se lo permitió. Ojo, es mi apreciación.
Regarding the movie as such I can't say much, I understood little since I haven't seen the first part, but I think that even if I had seen it, I would have found it just as boring. First, it was unnecessarily long, second, I feel that nothing interesting happened in all that time and third, it didn't arouse any emotion in me. The only thing I can highlight was the costumes and make-up, plus the special effects were totally good. The performances were not bad, but I feel that it had several actors who could have given much more but the script did not allow it. This is just my opinion.
| A pesar de que no nos gustó la película la pasamos genial, ir al cine es toda una experiencia y al estar allí nos dimos cuenta de cuanto nos hacía falta vivirla. Espero que no pase tanto tiempo para que regresemos, incluso quiero ir para la próxima con mis hermanas 😁. ¿Me recomiendan alguna película? | Even though we didn't like the movie we had a great time, going to the movies is a great experience and being there we realized how much we needed to live it. I hope it won't be so long before we go back, I even want to go for the next one with my sisters 😁 Do you recommend any movie? |

A mí también, de hecho creo que la semana próxima iremos nuevamente, aunque no hay una película que nos llame la atención 😌 Cuando vivía en CCS Iba muy seguido con mi abuela(QEPD), así que tiene un significado muy bonito en mi vida.
