Secretos del Alma-Reseña y opinión[ESP/ENG]
Hacía mucho tiempo que no disfrutaba tanto de una historia de suspenso, realmente estas no son mi estilo, desde siempre me han agradado más las películas de humor, acción o romanticismo; pero siempre existe una buena historia que nos enganche, así que esta es una de ellas, creo que la elegí por el simple hecho del nombre que tiene Secretos del Alma, al leer la frase me paso cualquier cosa por la mente menos el verdadero tema del rodaje.
It has been a long time since I enjoyed a suspense story so much, these are not really my style, I have always liked humor, action or romance movies more; but there is always a good story that hooks us, so this is one of them, I think I chose it for the simple fact of the name Secrets of the Soul, when I read the sentence anything went through my mind except the real subject of the shooting.
En ocasiones, la vida se torna indescifrable por los diferentes sucesos que pasamos las personas y que la mayoría de las veces no encontramos respuestas. Chloe es una chica que estudia arte en la universidad, con un talento especial y es que esta joven lleva una vida basada tormentosa desde dado que su madre, de joven, cometió algunos errores al mantenerse inestable sentimentalmente, lo cual le causo mucho daño a Chloe, lo que hizo que ambas se distanciaran; además que ella lleva años teniendo extrañas pesadillas que la llevan a realizar dibujos durante esos sueños y a la única persona que le cuenta dichos sucesos es a Rebecca, su mejor amiga.
Sometimes, life becomes indecipherable because of the different events that people go through and that most of the time we do not find answers to. Chloe is a girl who studies art at the university, with a special talent and is that this young woman has a stormy life since her mother, as a young woman, made some mistakes by being sentimentally unstable, which caused much damage to Chloe, which caused them both to distance themselves; in addition she has been having strange nightmares for years that lead her to make drawings during those dreams and the only person who tells these events is Rebecca, her best friend.
Un día Chloe, agotada de las noches oscuras, sueños inexplicables y pensamientos recurrentes; decide contarle a su mejor amiga y le muestra los dibujos que salen de toda esa situación, pero Rebecca se muestra incrédula ante la situación; días después Chloe vuelve a contarle a su amiga esas situaciones que no la dejaban vivir en paz, entonces Rebecca la cita en una iglesia luego de terminar su turno en el trabajo para conversar con el pastor; así que llega la hora de la cita, pero en la iglesia solo se encuentra Josh, un chico que también está pasando por un momento difícil, por lo que este le dice que allí no hay nadie más y Chloe sale a buscar a su amiga que de seguro aún se encuentra en el restaurante donde trabaja como mesera.
One day Chloe, exhausted of the dark nights, unexplainable dreams and recurring thoughts; decides to tell her best friend and shows her the drawings that come out of all that situation, but Rebecca is incredulous about the situation; days later Chloe returns to tell her friend about those situations that did not let her live in peace, then Rebecca meets her in a church after finishing her shift at work to talk with the pastor; So the appointment time arrives, but in the church there is only Josh, a guy who is also going through a difficult time, so he tells her that there is no one else there and Chloe goes out to look for her friend who is probably still in the restaurant where she works as a waitress.
Con lo que Chloe no cuenta es que al llegar a preguntar por Rebecca en el lugar donde se supone labora, nadie la conoce, por lo que la chica se siente confundida y piensa que le están tomando el pelo, entonces eso la pone alterada, pero en ese momento llega Josh y trata de ayudarla porque sabe que algo anda mal, pero la gente del restaurante llaman a la policía, así que la joven termina en la estación de policía donde deducen que la chica está mal emocionalmente y su madre quien también llega al lugar lo confirma.
What Chloe doesn't count on is that when she arrives to ask for Rebecca at the place where she is supposed to work, nobody knows her, so the girl feels confused and thinks they are pulling her leg, then that makes her upset, but at that moment Josh arrives and tries to help her because he knows something is wrong, but the people at the restaurant call the police, so the girl ends up at the police station where they deduce that the girl is emotionally ill and her mother who also arrives to the place confirms it.
Lo cierto es que todo esto se convierte en un misterio y tanto Chloe como Josh tratan de descubrir lo que acontece y es por medio de los diferentes dibujos que llegan a descubrir la verdad de lo sucedido hace muchos años. Rebecca, la amiga de Chloe realmente desapareció hace muchos años y el caso fue cerrado por falta de evidencias, así que la fallecida se comunicaba con Chloe por medio de sus sueños y la mantenía confundida, con la simple finalidad de que diera a conocer la realidad de los hechos y eso fue justo lo que sucedió gracias a la insistencia de Chloe y Josh, además que el chico fue el único en creerle a la joven, por lo que al final terminaron abriendo el caso y el asesino de Rebecca fue encarcelado.
The truth is that all this becomes a mystery and both Chloe and Josh try to discover what happens and it is through the different drawings that they come to discover the truth of what happened many years ago. Rebecca, Chloe's friend really disappeared many years ago and the case was closed for lack of evidence, so the deceased communicated with Chloe through her dreams and kept her confused, with the simple purpose of making her know the reality of the facts and that was just what happened thanks to the insistence of Chloe and Josh, plus the boy was the only one to believe the young woman, so in the end they ended up opening the case and Rebecca's murderer was imprisoned.
Esta es una historia que me gusto mucho porque además del suspenso, me emocionaba por querer saber que era lo que verdaderamente sucedía, aun cuando yo también estaba confundida al principio hasta que apareció Josh y comenzó a darle forma a los eventos de Chloe, ambos se hicieron cómplices en dicha aventura por saber que escondían los dibujos y juntos lograron dar con la raíz del problema; transmitiendo en cada escena que se le puede dar solución a esos temores que se llevan muy dentro del alma, aun cuando muchos no crean en nosotros.
This is a story that I liked a lot because in addition to the suspense, I was excited to know what was really happening, even though I was also confused at first until Josh appeared and began to shape the events of Chloe, both became accomplices in this adventure to know what the drawings were hiding and together they managed to find the root of the problem; transmitting in each scene that you can give a solution to those fears that are carried deep in the soul, even if many do not believe in us.
El valor de la amistad se hace presente en este rodaje, una amistad que consolida con los hechos, porque ambos chicos están atormentados por sus eventos vividos en el pasado, pero que tratan de esconderlos para evitar ser lastimados nuevamente. Ambos protagonistas presentan un trabajo muy impecable, Chloe nos muestra como el arte puede ser un escape a todo lo que le agobia, pero es ese mismo arte quien le ayuda a descifrar y salir a flote de tanto tormento; por su parte, Josh quien trata de esconder el dolor de perder un ser querido, se aferra a sus recuerdos sin dejar que otras personas se acerquen a él y es precisamente, todo eso que llevan guardado muy dentro de sus almas lo que permite que ambos puedan encontrar un equilibrio en sus vidas.
The value of friendship is present in this film, a friendship that consolidates with the facts, because both boys are tormented by their past events, but they try to hide them to avoid being hurt again. Both protagonists present a very impeccable work, Chloe shows us how art can be an escape from everything that overwhelms her, but it is that same art that helps her to decipher and emerge from so much torment; for his part, Josh, who tries to hide the pain of losing a loved one, clings to his memories without letting other people get close to him and it is precisely all that they have kept deep inside their souls that allows both to find a balance in their lives.
Otra de las cosas interesante de esta película es la parte de la fe, de creer que si se pueden sanar las heridas y continuar; al final de todo, ambos chicos vuelven a creer en la vida, en Dios y en ellos mismos. Esta es una historia que transmite muchas emociones, pero también mensajes positivos, del misterio pasa a la realidad de la vida, donde es necesario sacar los Secretos del Alma y sanarlos para continuar con la vida.
Another interesting part of this film is the part of faith, of believing that it is possible to heal the wounds and continue; at the end of it all, both boys believe again in life, in God and in themselves. This is a story that transmits many emotions, but also positive messages, from the mystery to the reality of life, where it is necessary to take out the Secrets of the Soul and heal them to continue with life.

Una película bastante intrigante, me gustó el toque de misterio y que la chica haya tenido apoyo, sino hubiera sido difícil que alguien le creyera. La verdad que el nombre es atrapante. Buena reseña, gracias por compartirla. Un saludo.

They are not very famous actors and the filmmaker directing doesn't seem very well known either, but the plot seems interesting. I'll have to look for it to see it, sometimes we find excellent little known films.

Debo decir que soy de tu género no me atraen las películas de terror o suspendo pero esta suena bastante interesante, se ve que no te vas a aburrir a mitad de la película y te mantiene pensando 🤔
La verdad es que es muy buena la historia, tiene muchas faces interesantes.
