| Nancy nunca sintió un orgasmo durante su matrimonio, y fue bastante infeliz. Fue una profesora muy respetada y bastante estricta, pero también una mujer frustrada que tuvo dos hijos con los cuales no era muy cercana. Por lo que se le ocurrió agendar una cita con Leo (el prostituto), y experimentar cosas nuevas. Pero luego de unos encuentros todo se torna más personal y Nancy quiere entablar una especie de amistad con Leo ya que se siente segura hablando con él. Toda la historia se desarrolla en la misma habitación de hotel dónde tienen sus encuentros. | Nancy never felt an orgasm during her marriage, and was quite unhappy. She was a well-respected and quite strict teacher, but also a frustrated woman who had two children with whom she was not very close. So it occurred to her to make an appointment with Leo (the prostitute), and experience new things. But after a few meetings everything becomes more personal and Nancy wants to establish a kind of friendship with Leo because she feels safe talking to him. The whole story takes place in the same hotel room where they have their meetings. |

🎬 Lo bueno y lo malo | The good and the bad
| La actuación de Emma Thompson sin duda no deja de sorprender y es que hizo un buen trabajo en este film, al igual que su guapo compañero Daryl McCormack. En cuánto al guión me parece que fue bastante natural y la química entre ambos fue buena. | Emma Thompson's performance certainly does not cease to amaze and she did a good job in this film, as well as her handsome partner Daryl McCormack. As for the script, I think it was quite natural and the chemistry between the two was good. |

| Pero lamentablemente fue bastante aburrida, se supone que forma parte del género de comedia pero está muy alejada de eso. Solo dura 1h 37 min pero la sentí mucho más larga, estos encuentros entre ambos fueron básicamente solo hablar a excepción de algunas cosas que pasaron y la escena final que es dónde ella logra alcanzar el placer, y no es que esperaba ese clase de acción para que fuera entretenida, sino que siento que alargaron demasiado la trama. | But unfortunately it was pretty boring, it's supposed to be part of the comedy genre but it's far from that. It only lasts 1h 37 min but I felt it much longer, these encounters between the two were basically just talking except for some things that happened and the final scene which is where she manages to achieve pleasure, and it's not that I expected that kind of action to make it entertaining, but I feel they stretched the plot too much. |

| Sin duda ella es la típica mujer frustrada e insatisfecha que nunca logró sentir placer al estar en un matrimonio infeliz que es el caso de muchas mujeres de esa época, y por otro lado Leo es un prostituto muy bueno en su trabajo que también hace de psicólogo. De este film no hay mucho que destacar o hablar más que de las conversaciones que ambos tuvieron y que pueden ser percibidas de diferentes maneras por el público. | No doubt she is the typical frustrated and unsatisfied woman who never managed to feel pleasure being in an unhappy marriage which is the case of many women of that time, and on the other hand Leo is a prostitute very good at his job who also plays the role of a psychologist. There is not much to highlight or talk about in this film other than the conversations they both had, which can be perceived in different ways by the audience. |

| Esperaba más, y no es que sea una experta o demasiado exigente jajajaj, es que de verdad fue bastante aburrida y la trama no terminó de atraparme. Sin embargo, ví demasiadas buenas críticas pero más enfocadas hacia el hecho de que Emma Thompson fuera la protagonista, lo que me hace preguntarme, si hubieran sido protagonistas menos conocidos ¿hubieran pensado lo mismo? | I was expecting more, and it's not that I'm an expert or too demanding hahahahahah, it's just that it was really quite boring and the plot didn't end up catching me. However, I saw too many good reviews but more focused on the fact that Emma Thompson was the protagonist, which makes me wonder, if they had been lesser known protagonists would they have thought the same? |

Mientras empezaba leyendo tu reseña me fui interesando por la película hasta que mencionaste que no te atrapó y te pareció aburrida, jajaja, quizás le dé una oportunidad, pero claramente no tendré expectativas muy altas.
