Volviendo nuevamente a la comunidad amigos, decidí que este año quería pisar terreno desconocido en cuanto a las producciones que vería, así que me enfocaré en aquellas que han sido poco comentadas o que incluso no sabía que existían, y en aquellas internacionales que desconocía, puede que encuentre alguna joya oculta o que reafirmen el hecho de porqué nadie habla de ellas.
Returning again to the community friends, I decided that this year I wanted to tread uncharted territory in terms of the productions I would watch, so I will focus on those that have been little talked about or that I didn't even know existed, and on those international ones that I didn't know about, I may find some hidden gems or reaffirm the fact why no one talks about them.

🍿 El año de las bodas | The weddings year
| En esta ocasión les hablaré de “El año de las bodas”, una producción estadounidense dirigida por Robert Luketic, protagonizada por Sarah Hyland y Tyler James Williams. La historia gira en torno a Marah, una chica que le aterra el compromiso y que decide ponerse a prueba al asistir a diferentes bodas en un año con su pareja Alex (un chef con una familia bastante tradicional que desea verlo casado y con hijos). | This time I will tell you about "The Year of Weddings", an American production directed by Robert Luketic, starring Sarah Hyland and Tyler James Williams. The story revolves around Marah, a girl who is terrified of commitment and decides to test herself by attending different weddings in a year with her partner Alex (a chef with a rather traditional family who wants to see him married with children). |

| Esta es una producción que entra en la categoría de romance y comedia, pero lamentablemente tenía muy poco de ambas. Pienso que el pilar angular de este tipo de historias es la pareja o por lo menos que la trama se desarrolle lo suficientemente bien para mantener al espectador enganchado. | This is a production that falls into the category of romance and comedy, but unfortunately had very little of either. I think the cornerstone of this type of story is the couple or at least that the plot is developed well enough to keep the viewer hooked. |
| Siento que tenían una buena idea al abordar el tema de las bodas, pero sólo 2 de ellas parecieron relevantes y a las demás les dieron muy poca atención, lo que no tenía sentido porque el resto se hizo demasiado lento y aburrido. Y tenían buenos personajes secundarios en los qué apoyarse pero también los dejaron a un lado. | I feel they had a good idea in tackling the wedding theme, but only 2 of them seemed relevant and the others were given very little attention, which didn't make sense because the rest became too slow and boring. And they had good secondary characters to rely on but they also left them aside. |
| Lo que nos deja con una pareja sin química y muy superficial, ya que no hubo realmente una profundidad o un trasfondo en su relación y eso jugó en contra porque tal vez la falta de química se hubiera equilibrado con situaciones y momentos más maduros y acordes a la trama. | This leaves us with a couple without chemistry and very superficial, as there was no real depth or background to their relationship and that worked against them because perhaps the lack of chemistry could have been balanced with more mature situations and moments in line with the plot. |
| Así que bueno, dejaré de lado ciertas opiniones personales sobre algunos aspectos y actitudes de los personajes, y les diré que a pesar de durar solo 85 minutos, me aburrí a la mitad, se quedaron estancados pudiendo hacer algo diferente y relevante, y es que aunque yo sé que este tipo de producciones terminan en lo mismo, y tienen bastantes cliché, todo siempre va a depender de cómo manejan el desarrollo y qué se puede mejorar o hacer mejor para que por lo menos destaque en algo. | So well, I will leave aside certain personal opinions about some aspects and attitudes of the characters, and I will tell you that despite lasting only 85 minutes, I got bored halfway through, they got stuck and could have done something different and relevant, and although I know that this type of productions end in the same thing, and have enough clichés, everything will always depend on how they handle the development and what can be improved or done better to at least stand out in something. |
| La elegí porque no sabía de su existencia y supuse que sería ideal para pasar un buen rato como muchas producciones del género, pero para mí no cumplió con las expectativas. Si ya la han visto ¿Qué les pareció a ustedes? ¿Les gustó? | I chose it because I didn't know of its existence and I assumed it would be ideal to have a good time like many productions of the genre, but for me it didn't live up to expectations. Solo he visto "Todo el mundo odia a Chris", en el que él era el actor principal pero a una edad muy temprana. Me sorprende verlo ya grande y actuando una película de amor también.
