El tiempo siempre será un afrodisíaco y catalizador de la creatividad, un tema exquisito que todos los artistas en algún momento queremos tocar, apareciendo sin ser invitado en cada relato, poema o escrito en cualquier género.
Hoy estuve compartiendo con mi familia una tarde agradable y por elección de mi padre vimos la película "In Time", una pieza cinematográfica de 2011 dirigida por Andrew Niccol, que nos presenta de la mano de la ciencia ficción un mundo donde el tiempo no solo vale oro sino mucho más.

Today I was sharing with my family a nice afternoon and by my father's choice we watched the movie "In Time", a 2011 film directed by Andrew Niccol, which presents us with the hand of science fiction a world where time is not only worth gold but much more.
"In Time" nos habla de un futuro distópico, donde las personas han dejado de envejecer a los 25 años, a partir de ese momento llevan en su brazo un contador de tiempo que muestra cuánto les queda de vida, y para sobrevivir utilizan ese tiempo como moneda de cambio.
Se nos muestra cómo la sociedad se define por una élite estructurada en pobres y ricos. Justin Timberlake encarna a Will Salas, un trabajador de clase baja que decide enfrentarse al sistema, motivado a que la desgracia tocó su vida. En el camino a esta rebelión conoce a Sylvia Weis (interpretada por Amanda Seyfried), una joven de élite que se suma a su causa
Time as a bargaining chip "In Time" tells us about a dystopian future, where people have stopped aging at the age of 25, from that moment on they wear a timer on their arm that shows how much time they have left to live, and to survive they use that time as a bargaining chip.
We are shown how society is defined by an elite structured into rich and poor. Justin Timberlake plays Will Salas, a lower class worker who decides to confront the system, motivated by the fact that misfortune has touched his life. On the way to this rebellion he meets Sylvia Weis (played by Amanda Seyfried), an elite young woman who joins his cause.
La película se pasea por una temática para nada desconocida por el público, la desigualdad social desde una línea marcada donde nos ponen como puntos esenciales el poder del tiempo y la importancia del tiempo en cada momento de la vida.
Como algo que se nos da de manera gratuita en el mundo actual, en "In Time" representa la fuerza opresiva de la que solo el poderoso goza. Es de aplaudir cómo la dirección de arte y la producción general nos permiten visualizar la diferencia entre ambas clases sociales: por un lado, tenemos a los ricos, con tiempo de sobra, pero para los pobres en el día a día cada segundo cuenta.
Las actuaciones, aunque convincentes, son algo predecibles, lo que genera cierta comodidad en el espectador. Sin embargo, el tema central, aunque fue explorado de buena manera, pudo haber sido aprovechado para generar más suspenso.
Social inequality in a world where time is everything The film goes through a subject not at all unknown to the public, social inequality from a marked line where we put as essential points the power of time and the importance of time in every moment of life.
As something that is given to us for free in today's world, "In Time" represents the oppressive force that only the powerful enjoy. It is to be applauded how the art direction and the overall production allow us to visualize the difference between the two social classes: on the one hand, we have the rich, with time to spare, but for the poor on a day-to-day basis every second counts.
The performances, although convincing, are somewhat predictable, which generates a certain comfort in the viewer. However, the central theme, while well explored, could have been used to generate more suspense.
Esta película no es más que una metáfora de la realidad en que vivimos, nos revela una desigualdad social, donde pocos se hacen ricos a costa de los que siguen siendo pobres, y este sistema, aunque cruel, es aplaudido por conveniencia por allegados a dicho sector.
Creo que el ser humano es pobre de pensamiento no de recursos, sin embargo, soy consciente de que el entorno en el que vivimos suele tener cierto impacto en nuestra calidad de vida. Tomemos en cuenta que quien nace con riquezas solo debe preocuparse por perpetuarla, mientras el de bajos recursos tiene como única preocupación el dinero.
Cada persona en el mundo es dueña de su destino, y el trayecto a recorrer cambia, pero debemos destinar nuestro tiempo en lo que es verdaderamente importante, en mi caso, mi familia y mi crecimiento personal.
Vivir al máximo para mí no significa disfrutar la vida sin mirar las consecuencias, es pensar que no poseemos el poder de la clarividencia para saber cuánto tiempo nos queda, así que es importante invertirlo de manera justa y ser felices.
My opinion This film is nothing more than a metaphor for the reality in which we live, it reveals a social inequality, where a few become rich at the expense of those who remain poor, and this system, although cruel, is applauded for convenience by those close to this sector.
I believe that human beings are poor in thought, not in resources; however, I am aware that the environment in which we live usually has a certain impact on our quality of life. Let's take into account that those who are born with wealth should only worry about perpetuating it, while those with low resources have money as their only concern.
Each person in the world is the master of his or her destiny, and the path to travel changes, but we must spend our time on what is truly important, in my case, my family and my personal growth.
Living to the fullest for me does not mean enjoying life without looking at the consequences, it means thinking that we do not possess the power of clairvoyance to know how much time we have left, so it is important to invest it fairly and be happy.

La primera vez que vi esta película me pareció muy buena, la idea del tomar el tiempo como lo más importante en la vida, realmente tiene mucho sentido en la misma vida real y es un gran mensaje el que deja la película. ¡Muy buena reseña!

Esa película es buena, me la recomendó una amiga de la universidad para que la viera, la verdad no imagine que seria así como se muestra y haciendo que todo sea una carrera por la vida, la poca vida que se tiene y ahí la gente cuidaba aun mas su dinero ya que era su vida, aunque era mas impactante porque sin tener dinero por un día puedes vivir pero ahí ya no eso lo pone mas fuerte la situación, aunque igual ellos si podían morir si lo llegaban a matar tampoco es que los ricos eran del todo inmortales pero igual se entiende, muy buen análisis de la desigualdad social.
Es que la película es muy buena y tiene un buen tema central, es muy entretenida. Gracias por comentar. Un abrazo.

I think JT (Timberlake) is an under-appreciated actor and while the plot of this film sounds absurd it really worked for me. I truly enjoyed this film and think other people should try to see it if they can. I think JT performed really well in this and perhaps we are going to see amazing stuff from him in the future. It made a ton of money internationally on a relatively small budget too!
True, JT is a very good actor, he just hasn't had a project ambitious enough to explore that side of his life. I liked that movie in part because of how he conveyed that need to which those of the lower classes are subjected.
