Review Movie: Five Nights at Freddy's (ENG-ESP)
Hello movie lovers in this beautiful community of hive, I hope you are very well today, this time I share with you my review of this movie inspired by the mythical horror games that came out back in 2014 and shocked the gaming community because of how complicated it was to complete some of the games and also the extensive story behind each of them, finally they have given the green light to the adaptation to the big screen and they have released it and I have been able to see it (being one of the people who most expected the release of the movie) and I have decided to make a review since I loved it completely. Hola amantes del cine en esta preciosa comunidad de hive, espero estén muy bien el día de hoy, en esta ocasión les comparto mi reseña de ésta película inspirada en los míticos juegos de terror que salieron por allá en el 2014 y que conmocionaron a la comunidad de gaming debido a lo complicado que era completar algunos de los juegos y además de la extensa historia detrás de cada uno de ellos, por fin han dado luz verde a la adaptación a la gran pantalla y la han estrenado y he podido verla (siendo yo una de las personas que más esperaba el estreno de la película) y he decidido hacerle una reseña ya que me encantó completamente. Así que sin más que decir, espero les guste y los invito a leerme! ❤️✨
Let's talk a little about this movie, we meet our main character Mike Schmidt who is having problems with sleep, his job and with his younger sister Abby, after an incident at his old job he decides to go talk to Steve Reglan who offers him a job offer in an old pizzeria that was also a children's entertainment center, although it seems a job with many cons Mike decides to accept it and although his first nights everything seems normal there is something else behind that pizzeria and the strange main characters that animated that place.
This supernatural horror and suspense film has a cast that caught my attention since day 1 when it was announced, with two great stars at the front we have Josh Hutcherson who plays Mike Schmidt, Matthew Lillard playing Steve Reglan and Elizabeth Lail in the role of Officer Vanessa. In addition to these great actors and actresses we have new faces in the film world, such as Piper Blonde as Mike's sister Abby, helping to bring these characters to life.
Hablemos un poco sobre ésta película, conocemos a nuestro protagonista Mike Schmidt el cual se encuentra teniendo problemas con el sueño, su trabajo y con su hermana menor Abby, luego de un incidente en su antiguo trabajo decide ir a hablar con Steve Reglan el cual le ofrece una oferta de trabajo en una antigua pizzería que era también un centro de entretenimiento de niños, aunque parece un trabajo con muchos contras Mike decide aceptarlo y aunque sus primeras noches todo parece normal hay algo más detrás de aquella pizzería y los extraños personajes principales que animaban aquel lugar.
En esta película de género terror sobrenatural y suspenso cuenta con un reparto que me llamó la atención desde el día 1 en el que lo anunciaron, con dos grandes estrellas al frente contamos con Josh Hutcherson quien interpreta a Mike Schmidt, Matthew Lillard interpretando a Steve Reglan y a Elizabeth Lail en el papel de la oficial Vanessa. Además de estos grandes actores y actrices contamos con nuevas caras dentro del mundo del cine, como Piper rubio como la hermana de Mike, Abby, ayudando a darle vida a estos personajes.

La película estadounidense con género terror y suspenso fue estrenada el 27 de octubre de 2023 y fue dirigida por Emma Tammi bajo la dirección y el guión de Scott Cawthon (creador de los juegos) y la cuál fue producida por Blumhouse Entertainment (conocida por ser la casa de las películas de terror como Actividad paranormal, Insidious, La Purga, entre otras). Mike quien se encuentra en una batalla legal con su tía por la custodia de su hermanita Abby, tras algunos problemas en su último trabajo debe buscar inmediatamente otro para evitar que le quiten la custodia de Abby, con algunos inconvenientes consigue un trabajo en Freddy's pizzería en donde debe mantener el lugar limpio y evitar que se metan personas pero algunos problemas de su pasado interfieren con su situación actual y aunque parezca que sus problemas personales son ajenos a su trabajo puede que ambos estén relacionados más de lo que piensa.

I remember being in the FNAF wave back in 2015 and I have a few drawings of some of the animatronics and I remember seeing many gameplays and videos of the history of the games, it was not a surprise that I was excited a lot to know that it would have a film adaptation and especially with two great actors that I love a lot as they are Matthew Lillard and Josh Hutcherson, both with many important roles that led them to stardom in Hollywood, They came together to give life to two very important characters in the whole history of FNAF, such as Mike and Steve (who eventually is known to be William Afton, the creator of the animatronics) and although the pressure from the FNAF fandom was very strong because they wanted a movie faithful to what is the story and the games, in my opinion, both the actors and the story (which was not based on the story of the games or the books) developed very well and I was satisfied with all the work from start to finish. The gripping and well developed story mixed with the design of all the scenery, the design of the animatronics (which I loved completely for the accuracy and quality they had) and the development of the characters to give a set of events that were rising, how the stories were related, the history of the animatronics and the mystery of the whole place completing the story little by little and having an incredible denouement.
Recuerdo haber estado en la onda de FNAF por allá por el 2015 y tengo unos cuantos dibujos de algunos de los animatrónicos y recuerdo haber visto muchos gameplays y videos de la historia de los juegos, no fue una sorpresa que me emocionara un montón al saber que tendría una adaptación cinematográfica y sobre todo con dos grandes actores que amo un montón como lo son Matthew Lillard y Josh Hutcherson, ambos con muchos papeles importantes que los llevaron al estrellato en Hollywood, se unieron para darle vida a dos personajes sumamente importantes en toda la historia de FNAF, como lo son Mike y Steve (quien con el tiempo se sabe que es William Afton, el creador de los animatrónicos) y aunque la presión de el fandom de FNAF fue muy fuerte por el hecho de querer que saliera una película fiel a lo que es la historia y los juegos, en mi opinión, tanto los actores como la historia (la cuál no se basó en la historia de los juegos ni en los libros) se desarrollo estupendamente y estuve de inicio hasta el final satisfecha con todo el trabajo. La historia atrapante y bien desarrollada se mezclaron con el diseño de toda la escenografía, el diseño de los animatrónicos (el cual amé por completo por la exactitud y la calidad que tuvieron) y el desarrollo de los personajes para dar un conjunto de eventos que fueron en ascenso, el como las historias se relacionaban, la historia de los animatrónicos y el misterio de todo el lugar completando la historia poco a poco y teniendo un desenlace increíble.
I loved Matthew Lillard's performance and all the representation he made of that strange personality of William Afton, making strange jokes and with his simple presence he generated that aura of hiding something. I was so excited to see it that it passed very quickly and although some things may seem strange in the film the truth is that I would not change anything since everything complements each other, it has that touch of reality in the story of Mike and his sister, in his traumas and the problems he has and that touch of fantasy in the animatronics but it does not feel forced or staged, is something that I found pleasant in the whole movie and although it took me a while to see the movie and I saw many varied opinions I really liked it, I feel that they captured splendidly the essence of FNAF with all its little details around, the realism with which they worked the animatronics, the personality of the characters and of course the soundtrack that was not left behind either.
The denouement of the movie also surprised me a lot and I am glad to know that there will be two more movies about fnaf, I will wait for them with great desire and for now I can only say that it was a great movie and although they lowered two tones to the terror in terms of the original story of the books and some games I thought it was great because they not only wanted the fans to see it but the new generations to know that story and investigate more about it. The jumpscares were no slouch either and although they were few I could say that some of them surprised me completely in addition to some of the strong scenes of the animatronic attacks. Overall I think it's a great movie to pass the time, fun in the sense of the mystery and the desire to know more that it generates, with a great soundtrack (which included a great song that was iconic within FNAF fandom and is immensely grateful that they added it) and is a letter of thanks to the fans who for so many years gave even more life to these great terrifying stories.
Amé la actuación de Matthew Lillard y toda la representación que hizo de esa extraña personalidad de William Afton, haciendo chistes extraños y ya con su simple presencia generaba esa aura de que oculta algo. Estuve tan emocionada al verla que se me pasó muy rápido y aunque algunas cosas puedan verse extrañas dentro de la película la verdad es que no le cambiaría nada ya que todo se complementa, tiene ese toque de realidad en la historia de Mike y su hermana, en sus traumas y los problemas que tiene y ese toque de fantasía en los animatrónicos pero que no se siente forzado ni montado, es algo que me pareció agradable en toda la película y aunque me tarde un poco al ver al película y vi muchas opiniones variadas la verdad me gustó bastante, siento que capturaron espléndidamente la escencia de FNAF con todos sus detallitos alrededor, el realismo con el que trabajaron a los animatrónicos, la personalidad de los personajes y por supuesto la banda sonora que tampoco se quedó atrás.
El desenlace de la película también me sorprendió bastante y me alegra saber que van a haber otras dos películas más sobre fnaf, las esperaré con muchísimas ganas y por ahora solo puedo decir que fue una gran película y aunque le bajarán dos tonos a el terror en cuanto a la historia original de los libros y algunos juegos me pareció genial ya que no solo buscaban que los fans la vieran sino que las nuevas generaciones conocieran esa historia e indagaran más sobre ella. Los jumpscares tampoco se quedaron atrás y aunque fueron pocos pude decir que algunos me sorprendieron completamente además de algunas de las escenas fuertes de los ataques de los animatrónicos. En general me parece una gran película para pasar el rato, divertida en el sentido de el misterio y las ganas de conocer mas que te generan, con una gran banda sonora (la cuál incluyeron una gran canción que fue icónica dentro del fandom de FNAF y que se agradece inmensamente que la agregaran) y es una carta de agradecimiento a los fans que tantos durante tantos años le dieron aún más vida a esas grandes historias terroríficas.
It was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated releases of 2023 and the reception was crazy, from long lines to buy tickets to fans dressed up as each of the animatronics among other characters and will be remembered for it. I will wait patiently for the next installment because I know it will be just as great as this one, with an unknown continuation since it will be something totally new and even fnaf fans won't be able to handle so many theories about what could come.
Sin duda fue uno de los estrenos más esperados del 2023 y la recepción fue una locura, desde colas largas para poder comprar las entradas hasta fans disfrazados de cada uno de los animatrónicos entre otros personajes más y será recordado por ello. Esperaré a la siguiente entrega pacientemente porque se que será igual de grandiosa que ésta, con una continuación desconocida ya que será algo totalmente nuevo e incluso los fans de fnaf no podrán con tantas teorías sobre lo que podría venir.

Pues sí está bien todo el hype de la película por el juego y eso pero yo siento que no es igual a lo que yo esperaba tal vez pienso que merecíamos algo mucho mejor aunque sí estuvo buena siento que pudo haber sido mejor.
En realidad si tienes algo de razón ya que en algunas cosas se sintió un poco floja pero creo que es una adaptación bastante buena ya que quizás hace 5 años no hubiésemos sabido que realmente se iba a hacer una película y quizás si no le hubiesen dado la oportunidad de que se hiciera no hubiese salido nunca por ello digo que aunque faltaron cosas por arreglar para hacerla aún mejor es muy fiel a lo que respecta con los animatrónicos, el lugar y todos los detallitos que son parte de los juegos incluso a los personajes a pesar de que no siguieran la historia de los libros o juegos
