Historia de amor entre Raquel y Ares || Love story between Raquel and Ares [ESP-ENG] | [OPINION]

En estos días estuve buscando que película ver en Netflix y vi que había una película que se llamaba A través de mi ventana, me llamo mucho la atención debido a que también me gustan las producciones cinematográficas del género romance y drama. En este caso este film nos cuenta una historia de romance juvenil entre Raquel y Ares. Además destacar que esta historia está basada en la trilogía de los libros de la historia de los Hermanos Hidalgos escritos por Ariana Godoy, en la cual nos cuenta la historia de tres hermanos las cuales tienen nombres de dioses griegos y uno de ellos se llama Ares en la cual se centra la trama de la cual les voy hablar hoy. A través de mi ventana salió en el año 2022, pero esto no queda aquí, ya que este año también salió la segunda entrega titulado A través del mar, la cual también tuve la oportunidad de verla y en esta reseña les voy hablar que me parecieron estas dos películas.

A través de mi ventana es una película española realizada por la plataforma Netflix, como es dije anteriormente salió en el 2022 y la dirección estuvo a cargo de Marçal Forés. La trama de este film nos cuenta como una chica se enamora de un su joven vecino de familia millonaria, dueños de la empresa más importante de España. La joven se llamaba Raquel y esta estaba realmente enamorada de Ares, incluso estaba obsesionada con él. La película comienza con una gran frase, "Todo comenzó con la clave del wifi", de esta forma fue que estos dos personajes se conocieron, empezaron a interactuar, hasta llegar al punto de gustarse profundamente, aunque esta relación se ve afectada por la familia de Ares. Pero finalmente esta pareja vence todo los obstáculos que se le presentan en el camino hasta que su amor perdure en el tiempo. ¿Será que finalmente lo lograrán? pues lo invito a ver la película para más detalles.

Está trama es simular a muchos películas que he visto anteriormente, como La culpa es mía y After. La historia son bastante similares, dos jóvenes que se enamoran pero pero por algunas circunstancia no puede estar juntos, siempre se presentan problemas, más allá que estos estén destinado a estar juntos, la mayoría de las veces pasan cosas que traen inconvenientes a la relación, aunque debo confesar que After en este punto es la peor de todas, siempre los protagonistas tienen problemas, cuando uno piensan que todo estará bien, pues no es así, normalmente pasa algo que afecta el amor de los personajes. En cierto punto se puede decir que el amor no siempre basta, a veces debemos dejar ir a las personajes por el bien de ambos, aunque tal vez este no sea el caso, veremos cómo se va desarrollando la trama y como finaliza esta historia de amor entre la Bruja y el dios griego, como se les conoce en la película a Raquel y Ares.

En esta película también se hablan de otros personajes, de la historia de los otros dos hermanos, pero como les dije principalmente está centrada en los dos personajes ya mencionados (Raquel y Ares). Pienso que la historia no es perfecto, pudo ser mejor, pero a pesar de ello a mí me gusta, logre conectar con Clara Galle (Raquel) y Julio Peña (Ares) más allá de que leí muchas críticas de que estos dos no tenían la química necesario para llevar la historia que se quería contar. Lo cierto es que puede que en parte tenga razón, pero esto se debe más que todo a la mala dirección de la película, porque he visto muchas entrevistas y estos dos se llevan realmente bien, se les ve mucha química, incluso como que si tuvieran algo en la vida real. Ambos son realmente simpáticos y con una gran armonía. De toda manera a mí sí me llegó la historia, tal vez no como otras, pero no me disgustó de un todo.

These days I was looking for a movie to watch on Netflix and I saw that there was a movie called Through my window, it caught my attention because I also like film productions of the romance and drama genre. In this case this film tells us a story of youthful romance between Rachel and Ares. Also note that this story is based on the trilogy of books of the history of the Hidalgo Brothers written by Ariana Godoy, which tells the story of three brothers who have names of Greek gods and one of them is called Ares in which focuses the plot of which I will talk today. A través de mi ventana came out in the year 2022, but this is not all, because this year also came out the second installment entitled A través del mar, which I also had the opportunity to see it and in this review I will tell you what I thought of these two films.


A través de mi ventana is a Spanish film made by the Netflix platform, as I said before it came out in 2022 and the direction was in charge of Marçal Forés. The plot of this film tells us how a girl falls in love with a young neighbor of a millionaire family, owners of the most important company in Spain. The girl's name was Raquel and she was really in love with Ares, she was even obsessed with him. The film begins with a great phrase, "It all started with the wifi key", this is how these two characters met, began to interact, to the point of liking each other deeply, although this relationship is affected by the family of Ares. But finally this couple overcomes all the obstacles that come their way until their love lasts in time. Will they finally make it? I invite you to watch the movie for more details.


This plot is similar to many movies I have seen before, such as La culpa es mía and After. The story is quite similar, two young people who fall in love but for some circumstances can not be together, there are always problems, even if they are destined to be together, most of the time things happen that bring problems to the relationship, although I must confess that After at this point is the worst of all, the protagonists always have problems, when you think that everything will be fine, well it is not, usually something happens that affects the love of the characters. At a certain point it can be said that love is not always enough, sometimes we must let go of the characters for the good of both, although this may not be the case, we will see how the plot develops and how this love story between the Witch and the Greek god, as they are known in the film to Rachel and Ares, ends.


This movie also talks about other characters, the story of the other two siblings, but as I said it is mainly focused on the two characters already mentioned (Raquel and Ares). I think the story is not perfect, it could have been better, but in spite of that I like it, I managed to connect with Clara Galle (Raquel) and Julio Peña (Ares) even though I read many criticisms that these two did not have the necessary chemistry to carry the story they wanted to tell. The truth is that I may be partly right, but this is mostly due to the bad direction of the film, because I have seen many interviews and these two get along really well, you can see a lot of chemistry between them, even as if they had something in real life. Both are really nice and with a great harmony. Anyway, the story got to me, maybe not like others, but I didn't dislike it at all.

La película en sí no me parece mala, tiene escenas que son buenas desde mi punto de visto. Lo que sí es que esta primera película se centra más que todo en las casas de ambos personajes y algunas localizaciones más, pero nada que destacar, como sí sucedieron en la segunda entrega pero de esto les hablaré más adelante. ¿El trabajo de los actores? debo decir que si bueno, tal vez no destacadas. Lo que sí es que conecte más que todo con las actuaciones de Clara y Julio, aunque no fueron perfectos, algunas escenas no me las creí del todo, pero en general sí me gustó, no en vano me vi la segunda parte, por algo lo hice. Como opinión final de esta primera entrega A través de mi ventana, la historia me pareció buena, lo que sí es que creo que los guionistas no supieron adaptar tan bien la historia como se esperaban mucho de los fanáticos, pero en general fue de mi agradó. En esta primera película de la trilogía, la trama se centra en cómo se enamoran Ares y Raquel, además de los obstáculos que se le aparecían en el camino, principalmente por la forma de pensar del Dios griego (Ares) y como fue criado por su padre. Pero bueno, los invito a ver la película si no lo han hecho, para que me den una opinión.

La segunda película A través del mar se titula así porque Ares se va a estudiar medicina a Estocolmo, Suecia, mientras que Raquel se queda en España estudiando literatura o algo así, ya que su sueño es ser escritora como su padre. Lo cierto es que sabemos cómo puede ser una relación distancia y los problemas que pueden tener. Pero allí es donde viene el dicho que si uno ama puede superar todo, pero también está el dicho que no siempre el amor es suficiente. Ares vuelve a España para tratar de salvar la relación con La bruja como él le decía a Raquel, la lleva a la casa de la playa de su familia, pero no todo solo como fue planeado, llegan los hermanos y amigos de los protagonistas de esta historia de amor.

Por momentos todo marchaba bien, pero luego las cosas volvían al inicio. Esta segunda película tiene a los mismos actores, pero esta segunda me llegó mucho más, todo lo vi más real. Otro aspecto que me gusta de esta segunda entrega son los escenarios donde se firman muchas escenas, son realmente hermosas y vale la pena poder apreciarlas en este filme. Creo que la historia se supo llevar un poco mejor que la primera, me gustó tanto como su predecesora. Lo que sí es que no todo termina como lo esperado, las cosas terminan mal, la historia de amor de estos dos se ve realmente afectada y en la tercera película A través de tu mirada veremos finalmente como termina esta historia. Netflix ha mostrado algunos avance y se ve como por momentos esta pareja están alejados pero también se ven algunos encuentros, algunos acercamientos que me dan a intuir que la historia terminará con Raquel y Ares juntos, pero también es probable que la historia de un gran giro y no concluya como esperemos. I don't think the movie itself is bad, it has some good scenes from my point of view. What is true is that this first movie focuses mostly on the houses of both characters and some other locations, but nothing to highlight, as it happened in the second installment but I will talk about this later. The work of the actors? I must say that if good, maybe not outstanding. What I did connect more than anything with the performances of Clara and Julio, although they were not perfect, some scenes I did not believe them at all, but in general I did like it, not in vain I saw the second part, I did it for a reason. As a final opinion of this first installment Through My Window, I thought the story was good, what I do think is that the screenwriters did not know how to adapt the story as well as expected from the fans, but in general I liked it. In this first movie of the trilogy, the plot focuses on how Ares and Rachel fall in love, besides the obstacles that appeared on the way, mainly because of the way of thinking of the Greek God (Ares) and how he was raised by his father. But well, I invite you to watch the movie if you haven't, so you can give me an opinion.


The second film Through the Sea is titled this way because Ares is going to study medicine in Stockholm, Sweden, while Raquel stays in Spain studying literature or something like that, since her dream is to be a writer like her father. The truth is that we know how a long distance relationship can be and the problems they can have. But that is where the saying comes in that if you love you can overcome everything, but there is also the saying that love is not always enough. Ares returns to Spain to try to save the relationship with La bruja as he called Raquel, he takes her to his family's beach house, but not everything alone as planned, the brothers and friends of the protagonists of this love story arrive.


At times everything went well, but then things went back to the beginning. This second movie has the same actors, but this second one got to me much more, I saw everything more real. Another aspect that I like in this second installment are the scenarios where many scenes are signed, they are really beautiful and worth being able to appreciate them in this film. I think the story was a little better than the first one, I liked it as much as its predecessor. What is true is that not everything ends as expected, things end badly, the love story of these two is really affected and in the third film Through Your Eyes we will finally see how this story ends. Netflix has shown some previews and we can see how at times this couple are far apart but we also see some meetings, some approaches that give me to intuit that the story will end with Raquel and Ares together, but it is also likely that the story takes a big turn and does not conclude as we expect.
