Reacher Season 2 Series Review

The last couple of weeks besides eating a lot due to the holidays i am also been watching some series/anime that i was expecting with excitement. Truth be told the vast majority of series and movies are basically shit and if you don't believe me either check them out or check how soon they get canceled. So for December i was waiting for 2 series, Reacher and another one that i will mention in another review!

In fact, the first season was released in February of 2022 and had 8 episodes. It was freaking amazing and in general, according to IMDb each episode had a rating of 8+. Season 2 was released in December 2023. It has 8 episodes as well but it's not over yet, we are currently in the sixth episode. My guess is that we gonna have a season 3 as well.

Plot

Basically, the idea is pretty simple. We have a former military man, or military "policeman" if you want with many awards and achievements. Now he roams around America without even a backpack and living his life. Of course, problems occur everywhere and Reacher happens to be in the middle of them.

The first season was relevant to his brother's death in a small town in America where he took revenge and now the second season is related to his former army crew. Apparently, a former member of his army crew died and along with the remaining ones he tries to uncover what's happening and ofc to take revenge.

Good and Bad

The thing that i like is ofc the plot which is quite simple but it gets your attention, i don't think anyone would want something more complicated. The acting is great, there are some funny phrases that are constantly repeated, maybe too much, but still enjoyable though. Phrases like "Neagley do i ever tell you how smart you are?" "Not Neagley enough". Get it?

Another cool thing is the fight scenes. Most of the fight scenes are quite amazing, and Reacher is a beast. Not only do we get to see cool fight scenes but at the same time, you can see some "hard justice", meaning that Reacher isn't afraid to break the law and kill those responsible for major crimes. He also kills for revenge showing that even though he was in the army and following strict orders about anything, he now follows his emotions.

The only bad thing that i have to say is that they could do an even better job with the fight scenes and possibly if they want to make another season based on what we have seen so far the plot should become more intriguing. I don't have anything else to add and i would also gladly give it an 8/10!
