Hoy fue un domingo tranquilo, descansando y decidimos ver esta miniserie, nos llamó la atención por el nombre y tema, soy un fan de las series de crímenes y policiacas, y como solamente eran 4 episodios me interesó un poco más.

Así que lo primero que voy a mencionar será mi Sinopsis de la serie.

Sinopsis

Un prisionero condenado a muerte un vicario y una profesora de matemáticas y una reportera cruzan sus caminos de formas bastantes inesperadas. La lógica como recurso para entender el mundo se convierte en el vínculo entre todos.

Mi opinión

Esta miniserie me atrapó por dos razones, el tema y el reparto, quien interpreta el papel del prisionero condenado a muerte es Stanley Tucci, de quien siempre he tenido buena estima como actor. La serie tiene tan solo 4 episodios de una hora cada uno, y me agrada porque van presentando las historias de manera independiente y las van comenzando a entrelazar, quizá no es la mejor serie de su genero, incluso hay elementos bastante rebuscados y poco explicados en la trama, incluso hay ciertas incoherencias en el argumento detonante de acciones que son los que le dan carácter al desenlace de la serie.

Hubo diálogos y frases que realmente me gustaron de hecho, como saben siempre miro todo con un poco de filosofía y la sección filosófica de esta miniserie la citare.

Con respecto al final no me gustó demasiado, siento que dejaron muchas cosas al aire, es cierto que hay cierres abiertos que invitan al espectador a involucrases de manera imaginativa, pero acá son varios elementos que para mi resultan vacíos.

Un aspecto que me gustó de la serie es que utiliza recursos lógicos bastante interesantes, y como la lógica en el fondo de algún modo es ver aquello que es realmente evidente pero puede pasar por desapercibido.

Mirada filosófica de la miniserie:

Como ya lo mencione la lógica ha sido el recurso que más aprovecharon, pero, aunque la lógica pueda ser un recurso filosófico interesante, no es lo que en sí quiero resaltar en esta sección de la miniserie.

Lo que quiero resaltar es el aspecto ético de la serie, nos muestra lo frágil que podemos ser los seres humanos, y que bajo las circunstancias indicadas podemos hacer cosas que normalmente no consideraríamos, y este punto quiero citar una de las frases que más llamarón mi atención.

"Cualquier persona puede ser un asesino, solo necesita conocer a la persona correcta."

Nuestra condición humana nos dota de ciertas fragilidades, una de ellas es expuesta en la frase que acabo de citar, todos somos asesinos en potencia, solo debemos estar bajo las condiciones y circunstancias adecuadas. Eso me hizo pensar en nuestros juicios morales, y sobre todo en nuestros valores, me pregunto:

¿Hasta que punto nuestros valores están realmente arraigados?

Pero, realmente Ortega y Gasset tenía razón al afirmar que somos nuestras circunstancias, no somos islas sino que somos en relación. Esta serie "inside man" me ha estimulado el pensar el cómo somos realmente, es aterrador pensar que todos somos asesinos en potencia.

Ahora bien, ¿Ya viste este film? si ya lo has hecho, déjame en los comentarios tu opinión, sino la has visto, y te llama la atención puedes verla pero, cero expectativas.

Review of the miniserie "inside man"

Today was a quiet Sunday, resting and we decided to watch this mini-series, we were attracted by the name and theme, I am a fan of crime and police series, and as there were only 4 episodes I was interested a little more.

So the first thing I'm going to mention is my Synopsis of the series.

Synopsis

A prisoner condemned to death, a vicar and a mathematics teacher and a reporter cross their paths quite unexpectedly. Logic as a resource to understand the world becomes the link between everyone.

My opinion

This mini-series caught me for two reasons, the theme and the cast, who plays the role of the prisoner condemned to death is Stanley Tucci, of whom I have always had good esteem as an actor. The series has only 4 episodes of an hour each, and I like it because they present the stories independently and start to interlace them, perhaps it is not the best series of its genre, even there are quite convoluted and poorly explained elements in the plot, even there are certain inconsistencies in the argument that triggers actions that are the ones that give character to the outcome of the series.

There were dialogues and phrases that I really liked, in fact, as you always look at everything with a little philosophy and the philosophical section of this mini-series I will quote.

With respect to the end I did not like it too much, I feel that they left many things in the air, it is true that there are open endings that invite the viewer to be imaginatively involved, but here there are several elements that for me are empty.

One aspect that I liked about the series is that it uses quite interesting logical resources, and as logic in the end is to see what is really evident but can go unnoticed.

Philosophical look at the mini-series:

As I mentioned before, logic has been the most exploited resource, but, although logic can be an interesting philosophical resource, it is not what I want to highlight in this section of the mini-series.

What I want to highlight is the ethical aspect of the series, it shows us how fragile we can be as human beings, and that under the indicated circumstances we can do things that we would not normally consider, and this point I want to quote one of the phrases that caught my attention the most.

"Any person can be a murderer, they just need to know the right person."

Our human condition endows us with certain fragilities, one of them is exposed in the phrase that I just quoted, we are all potential murderers, we just have to be under the right conditions and circumstances. That made me think about our moral judgments, and above all about our values, I wonder:

How deeply rooted are our values really?

But, really Ortega and Gasset was right when he said that we are our circumstances, we are not islands but we are in relation. This series "inside man" has stimulated my thinking about how we really are, it is terrifying to think that we are all potential murderers.
