Mientras afuera llueve y la noche se hace mas oscura, un grupo de siete desafortunados se ve acorralado en un solitario restaurante. Ajenos a un peligro aún mayor que se cierne sobre ellos, poniendo a prueba su cordura y su instinto de supervivencia. The Killing Jar no es una simple película de suspenso comercial, de hecho la encontre en youtube y auqnue en un principio pense que seria muy mala, la verdad es que tiene una trama electrizante donde la tensión se palpa en el aire, las sospechas se multiplican y la violencia irrumpe de forma inesperada. Cada giro de la trama nos mantiene en vilo, sintiendo el escalofrío del miedo en cada escena.

The Killing Jar is not a simple commercial thriller, in fact I found it on youtube and although at first I thought it would be very bad, the truth is that it has an electrifying plot where the tension is palpable in the air, suspicions multiply and violence erupts unexpectedly. Each twist of the plot keeps us on edge, feeling the shiver of fear in every scene.

And although the plot may seem somewhat simple, Michael Madsen's masterful performance as a mysterious and cold man, is amazing and unleashes a very tense atmosphere that is increasing when it begins to unleash a series of violent events.

Como comenté al principio, esta joya la encontré en YouTube y aunque no le tenía nada de fe, porque de hecho en la miniatura de la película vemos a Rambo, y que no tiene nada que ver con the killing jar. A pesar de eso es bastante excelente y logra dar en el punto de que para que una película tenga éxito no debe ser tan llamativa.

Sin embargo, a pesar de su prometedora premisa, la película no está exenta de algunos fallos en su trama. Por ejemplo, algunos diálogos pueden parecer forzados y ciertos giros de la trama resultan bastante predecibles, lo que puede restar cierto impacto a la narrativa. Además, el desarrollo de personajes secundarios podría haberse profundizado más, por ejemplo, el personaje de Danny Trejo, que no le dieron ni si quiera tiempo de respirar, pero fue bastante bueno verlo en esta producción.

En conclusión, es un thriller especial a pesar de sus imperfecciones, ya que logra mantener al espectador enganchado con una mezcla ideal de suspenso, acción y tensión.
