Saludos amigos de high espero que se encuentren de maravilla. el día de hoy tenía una intro bien pensada para esta película que acabo de ver ya que relata perfectamente una realidad que muchos pudiéramos anhelar pero que pocos pueden ver realmente. La película se llama Priscila y cuenta la vida de Priscila Presley la que fue la esposa de Elvis Presley una mujer que lamentablemente sufrió muchísimo desde que conoció a este famoso e icónico cantante. Claro cabe aclarar que aunque la película estuvo muy buena y me gustó realmente yo no conozco absolutamente nada de la vida de Elvis Presley y puede ser que en esta producción hayan exagerado algunas cosas como para ser más dramáticos y darle más detalles a la película pero si tú eres un conocedor profundo de la vida de Elvis Presley también pudieras dejar en los comentarios qué detalle fueron ciertos o no de esta película.

Así que bueno empecemos primeramente con la trama y luego con un poco de mi opinión respecto a esta película trataré de no dar muchos spoilers porque realmente es una película que merece la pena que veas ya que como mencioné antes cuenta la dura realidad de la vida de un famoso o más bien de la familia de un famoso.

Today I had a well thought out intro for this movie that I just saw because it perfectly relates a reality that many of us could long for but few can really see. The movie is called Priscilla and tells the life of Priscilla Presley who was the wife of Elvis Presley, a woman who unfortunately suffered a lot since she met this famous and iconic singer. Of course it is worth mentioning that although the movie was very good and I really liked it, I know absolutely nothing about Elvis Presley's life and it could be that in this production they have exaggerated some things to be more dramatic and give more details to the movie but if you are a deep connoisseur of Elvis Presley's life you could also leave in the comments what details were true or not of this movie.

So let's start first with the plot and then with a little bit of my opinion about this movie I will try not to give too many spoilers because it really is a movie worth watching because as I mentioned before it tells the hard reality of the life of a famous person or rather of the family of a famous person.

La película nos marca en un inicio la vida de Elvis Presley y Priscila, ella es una chica alemana de tan solo 14 años de edad y que por debido a que estaba cumpliendo servicio militar, Elvis Presley estaba en Alemania donde en una ocasión conoció a Priscila y conectó inmediatamente con ella. Conectaron a tal punto de que Elvis Presley le pidió a los padres de Priscila llevarla hasta su mansión en los Estados Unidos darle la mejor vida y las mejores estudios. Los padres de Priscila aceptaron y claro además también Priscila que estaba muy pero muy enamorada de este famoso cantante ya que ella misma pensaba que era un sueño hecho realidad de que una estrella o un ídolo de su tiempo se fijara en ella. Pero luego de que Priscila comenzara a vivir con Elvis Presley se da cuenta de la dura realidad ya que constantemente se tiene que quedar sola debido a las giras del y además lidiar con los cientos de rumores debido a infidelidades, y sobre todo los problemas parecen a grabar se cuándo contra el matrimonio. Pero qué pasa con la vida de este cantante y de esta joven? Tomó una buena decisión? vivió con las consecuencias? qué ocurrió al final de esta película? Espero que puedas darle el tiempo y verla y responder estas preguntas por ti mismo.

Ahora en mi opinión respecto a esta película de manera honesta pienso que está muy bien construida ya que el tema con respecto a conocer una celebridad y llegar a enamorarte y que cambie tu vida de repente es algo que pudiera pasar en la vida real. De hecho hemos sabido de personas que se vuelven mundialmente famosas por estar casadas con alguien que ya es famoso o como en otros casos la fama los abraza de repente y su vida cambia de un día para otro. Pero aunque las redes sociales la televisión o el internet te quieran pintar como una utopía maravillosa vivir una vida así lamentablemente siempre hay un lado oscuro detrás de todo. Y que lo que siempre vemos en las redes sociales el internet o la televisión es solamente una punta pequeña de un iceberg muy grande de una cara oculta de la que nadie quiere hablar y eso es precisamente lo que le sucede a priscila en esa película.

donde su vida cambia de repente for conocer a un ídolo destiempo y piensa que esto le dará la vida de sueño pero poco a poco se va enfrentando la dura realidad de lo que conlleva ser famoso, ya que el lidiar con la noticia escándalosas, su vida amorosa y sentimental se vaya dar un bando poco a poco. Y es ese concepto lo que me atrajo de esta película ya que no trata de ocultar esta realidad no lo pinta como si fuera algo bonito sino que muestra una realidad muy cruda.

Now in my opinion regarding this movie I honestly think it is very well constructed because the theme of meeting a celebrity and falling in love and having your life suddenly change is something that could happen in real life. In fact we have known of people who become world famous for being married to someone who is already famous or as in other cases fame suddenly embraces them and their life changes from one day to the next. But although social networks, television or the internet want to paint it as a wonderful utopia to live such a life, unfortunately there is always a dark side behind everything. And that what we always see on social networks the internet or television is only a small tip of a very large iceberg of a hidden face that no one wants to talk about and that is precisely what happens to Priscila in this film.

She suddenly changes her life when she meets an idol at the wrong time and thinks that this will give her the dream life, but little by little she faces the harsh reality of what it takes to be famous, as she deals with the scandalous news, her love and sentimental life gradually takes a side. And it is this concept that attracted me to this film because it does not try to hide this reality, it does not paint it as if it were something beautiful, but it shows a very harsh reality.

Otra cosa que me parece increíble y excepcional que mostraron esta película es que a veces podemos idealizar que ciertos cantantes o famosos son personas buenas o como dices muchos fans son Ángeles cuando en realidad son la representación misma de el mal porque analicemos a detalle lo que ocurre en esta película. Es decir Priscila era una niña de 14 años de edad y ya Elvis Presley era un hombre adulto, vemos dónde está la gravedad del asunto si esto pasara en la actualidad obviamente se consideraría como una violación y Elvis Presley terminaría tras la reja y con un enorme juicio a sus espaldas pero vemos que hay una gran diferencia en aquel entonces en los años 50 donde las leyes no son lo que son ahora y donde los padres con tal de tener ayuda económica o cierta alivio en cuanto a la carga familiar dejaban que las hijas formaran alianzas matrimoniales siendo menores de edad. Y esto es algo que no solamente pasó en esos países desarrollados como Alemania de hecho aquí en Venezuela también ocurrió y tengo relatos de familiares Que contrajeron matrimonio siendo menores de edad y la razón es la misma para aliviar la carga económica que llevaba a una familia. Pero volviendo al tema principal esto era algo Que obviamente no estaba bien ya que como podemos ver en la película Priscila se tiene que enfrentar a muchas cosas muy rápidamente y de una manera escandalosa y que la golpea muy duro en sus sentimientos que no están preparados para esa situación.

Por eso es que esta película Yo le doy un ocho de 10 ya que la recomiendo totalmente claro si hay algunos detalles que dejan lugar a dudas también el final que no es un final totalmente uniforme pero es una película bastante buena y sobre todo reflexiva. Además cuenta con la excelente actuación de Jacob elordi como Elvis Presley y puedo decir que el parecido es bastante y la actuación icónica, así como de Cailee spaeny como Priscila me sorprendió mucho porque en las películas esta actriz hace de una niña de 14 años y aunque su cara es bastante juvenil el maquillaje y el arreglo de la ropa fue excepcional lo cual hicieron que de verdad pareciera una niña pequeña aunque en realidad esta actriz tiene mi misma edad 25 años.

Another thing that I find incredible and exceptional that this movie showed is that sometimes we can idealize that certain singers or celebrities are good people or as you say many fans are Angels when in reality they are the very representation of evil because let's analyze in detail what happens in this movie. I mean Priscilla was a 14 year old girl and Elvis Presley was a grown man, we see where is the seriousness of the matter if this happened today obviously it would be considered rape and Elvis Presley would end up behind bars and with a huge trial behind his back but we see that there is a big difference back then in the 50's where the laws are not what they are now and where parents in order to have financial support or some relief in terms of family burden let daughters form marriage alliances being minors. And this is something that not only happened in those developed countries like Germany in fact here in Venezuela it also happened and I have stories of relatives who married under age and the reason is the same to alleviate the economic burden that carried a family. But back to the main topic this was something that obviously was not right because as we can see in the movie Priscila has to face many things very quickly and in a scandalous way and that hits her very hard in her feelings that are not prepared for that situation.

That is why I give this movie an eight out of 10 and I totally recommend it, of course there are some details that leave room for doubt, also the ending, which is not a totally uniform ending, but it is a pretty good movie and above all reflective. It also has the excellent performance of Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley and I can say that the resemblance is quite and iconic performance, as well as Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla surprised me a lot because in the movies this actress plays a 14 year old girl and although her face is quite youthful makeup and clothing arrangement was exceptional which really made her look like a little girl although in reality this actress is my same age 25 years old.
