Cuando pensamos en películas sobre viajes en el tiempo normalmente pensamos en lo que volver al futuro nos idealizó donde si llegas a encontrarte con tu yo del pasado o del futuro se crearía una paradoja que destruiría todo el universo. Y aunque eso no es totalmente cierto ya que nadie ha podido probarlo porque nadie ha podido viajar en el tiempo muchas películas demuestran que esta idea es una realidad en la ciencia ficción. Por eso es que la película de los vengadores endgame fue maravillosa en tratar de explicar esto aunque ellos no usaron una máquina del tiempo convencional de igual manera no pudieron encontrarse con sus yo del pasado.

Pero qué pasa cuando una película rompe con esos ideales y va más allá pues, no solo muestran que es posible encontrarte con tu yo del pasado sino de alguna manera embarazarte a ti mismo y que de esta manera se cree una paradoja infinita donde naces y mueres en el tiempo sin ninguna repercusión de la realidad. Pues sí sé que suena bastante descabellado pero una película lo hizo posible de hecho es una película que yo vi en una ocasión no la entendí y la olvidé pero recientemente tuve la oportunidad de volverla a ver y pude entender cierta cosas y me interesó bastante la película ya que realmente es algo muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados a ver de las películas de viajes en el tiempo.

When we think of movies about time travel we usually think of what going back to the future idealized us where if you get to meet your past or future self it would create a paradox that would destroy the entire universe. And although that is not entirely true since no one has been able to prove it because no one has been able to time travel many movies prove that this idea is a reality in science fiction. That's why the avengers movie endgame was wonderful in trying to explain this even though they didn't use a conventional time machine they still couldn't meet their past selves.

But what happens when a movie breaks with those ideals and goes beyond that, they not only show that it is possible to meet your past self but in some way impregnate yourself and in this way create an infinite paradox where you are born and die in time without any repercussions of reality. Well yes I know it sounds pretty crazy but a movie made it possible in fact it is a movie that I saw once I did not understand it and forgot it but recently I had the opportunity to see it again and I could understand certain things and I was quite interested in the movie because it really is something very different from what we are used to see in time travel movies.

La película se llama predestinación Y fue lanzada en el año 2014 la trama básicamente se trata de un agente del tiempo que desea evitar que un terrorista siga matando personas por medio de bombas de hecho el villano principal se llama the fitzer bomber y ya ha matado a muchísimas personas en atentados. Así que este gente del tiempo tiene que viajar a diferentes épocas Y tratar de capturar a este terrorista antes de que inicie en esos malos pasos. Pero a medida que la trama se va desarrollando vas comprendiendo muchas cosas y te vas dando cuenta de que la realidad no es lo que parece, y que si no prestas bien atención puede llegar a confundirte cuando ya la película va a la mitad o está terminando.

Claro no puedo negar que la película cuando comienza es muy floja la trama ya que no la encuentras mucho sentido, además se va mucho hacia una historia del personaje secundario que puede llegar a aburrirte pero en realidad en eso se basa la película, así que si la llegas a ver tienes que prestarle mucha atención a esa historia para poder entender toda la película.

Otra cosa que puedo decir es que la película tiene un final bastante paradójico ya que puedes ver como todas las piezas encajan en su lugar y te vas dando cuenta de quién es el verdadero villano de esta película. Así que si te gustan los viajes en el tiempo la ciencia ficción y las paradojas que pueden llegarte a dar un fuerte dolor de cabeza esta película es para ti. Además tiene actores bastante buenos por ejemplo tienes a Ethan Hawke y a Sarah Snook, que si no lo recuerdas, ethan actúa como personaje principal en la primera película de La purga, y Sarah actúa en la serie succession y la película run rabbit run.

The movie is called predestination and was released in the year 2014 the plot basically is about a time agent who wants to prevent a terrorist to keep killing people by bombs in fact the main villain is called the fitzer bomber and has already killed many, many people in bombings. So these time people have to travel to different times AND try to capture this terrorist before he starts in those evil steps. But as the plot develops you understand many things and you realize that reality is not what it seems, and that if you don't pay attention you can get confused when the movie is half way through or is ending.

Of course I can not deny that the film when it starts is very weak plot because you do not find much sense, also goes a lot to a story of the secondary character that can get bored but in reality that is the basis of the film, so if you get to see it you have to pay close attention to that story to understand the whole movie.

Another thing I can say is that the movie has a quite paradoxical ending as you can see how all the pieces fit into place and you start realizing who is the real villain of this movie. So if you like time travel, science fiction and paradoxes that can give you a headache this movie is for you. It also has pretty good actors for example you have Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook, if you don't remember, Ethan plays the main character in the first Purge movie, and Sarah plays in the series Succession and the movie Run Rabbit Run.

A esta película le doy una calificación de tres estrellas, no le doy la completa de cinco ya que la trama en algunos aspectos es algo floja además la historia del personaje secundario aunque es importante para poder entender la trama se va muchísimo hacia otro lado, y puede llegar a aburrirte y lo peor es que esta historia secundaria dura casi 30 minutos de la película. Y aunque en el comienzo de la película es bastante impresionante y hasta puede causar confusión cuando se va desenvolviendo vas entendiendo todo. Pero lo más épico es el final donde el personaje principal descubre quién es el villano y se ve como todo encaja como unas piezas de lego.

En conclusión si quieres ver una película sobre viajes en el tiempo y paradojas que te hagan volar la cabeza predestinación del 2014 es una buena película para eso, como ya mencioné tiene que tener en cuenta que la historia secundaria aunque es importante se desvía mucho de la trama pero es necesaria para que puedas entender la película. I give this movie a rating of three stars, I do not give it the full five stars because the plot in some aspects is somewhat weak and the secondary character's story although it is important to understand the plot goes a lot to another side, and can get bored and the worst thing is that this secondary story lasts almost 30 minutes of the film. And although at the beginning of the film it is quite impressive and can even cause confusion as it unfolds you understand everything. But the most epic is the end where the main character discovers who the villain is and you see how everything fits together like lego pieces.

In conclusion if you want to see a movie about time travel and paradoxes that will blow your mind predestination 2014 is a good movie for that, as I mentioned you have to keep in mind that the secondary story although it is important deviates a lot from the plot but it is necessary for you to understand the movie.
