Godzilla Minus One: The titan's best movie to date (Review + opinion) EN/ES

Ya estamos a mitad de semana Y la verdad luego de una larga jornada laboral solamente quería pensar en relajarme y disfrutar de una icónica película y qué mejor película que la Nueva presentación de Godzilla una película donde podemos ver a Godzilla con esteroides un Godzilla realmente como los fans lo quieren estamos hablando de la más reciente producción japonesa Godzilla minus one una película que le regresa la gloria a este poderoso titán asiático. Claro para poder verla tuve que usar un método poco ortodoxo y nada legal 🤣 Pero de igual manera pude disfrutar de las que consideró una de las mejores películas de Godzilla. Sí la nueva saga de Godzilla que ha salido recientemente en Hollywood donde pelea contra con y contra los mutos, te pareció buena pues esto es 10,000 veces mejor y la verdad no estoy exagerando ya que es una película que de verdad vale la pena ver.

Si quieres saber de qué trata esta película y mi opinión acerca de ella quédate a leer esta publicación obviamente como es una película que está generando muchos hype no daré spoiler innecesario, para que tú también busques tu propia opinión en la película y te motives a verla, así que sin más que agregar aquí va un poco de la trama de Godzilla minus one.

En la Japón de post guerra en 1945 donde todo el país se encuentra devastado y una nación busca levantarse de las cenizas encontramos a Koichi, un soldado kamikaze que nunca pudo cumplir su misión en la guerra ya ya que mintió sobre el estado de su avión debido a que tenía miedo de morir, así que vemos que koichi se encuentra por primera vez con Godzilla en la base militar donde este destruye y mata a todos los soldados de una manera terrible, y viendo está terrible escena koichi decide regresar a tokio con mucho estrés postraumático debido a las escenas terribles que vivió en el reciénte encuentro contra Godzilla, Pero cuando llegue a Tokio a la casa de sus padres solamente ve destrucción por todos lados debido a la guerra y se llega a enterar de que sus padres perdieron la vida debido a los bombardeos. Pero aunque koichi logra establecerse en Tokio y formar una familia, al poco tiempo todo se sale de control debido a unas pruebas nucleares en el atolón bikini que Estados Unidos estaba realizando, lo que hizo que de alguna manera afectara a Godzilla, y es aquí donde vemos cómo la nación destruida por la guerra debe unirse para hacerle frente a este poderoso titán.

In post war Japan in 1945 where the whole country is devastated and a nation seeks to rise from the ashes we find Koichi, a kamikaze soldier who could never fulfill his mission in the war because he lied about the state of his plane because he was afraid of dying, so we see that Koichi meets for the first time with Godzilla in the military base where he destroys and kills all the soldiers in a terrible way, and seeing this terrible scene koichi decides to return to tokyo with a lot of post-traumatic stress due to the terrible scenes he lived in the recent encounter against Godzilla, but when he arrives in tokyo to his parents' house he only sees destruction everywhere due to the war and learns that his parents lost their lives due to the bombing. But although Koichi manages to settle in Tokyo and raise a family, soon everything gets out of control due to nuclear tests in the Bikini Atoll that the United States was conducting, which somehow affected Godzilla, and this is where we see how the nation destroyed by the war must unite to face this powerful titan.

Bueno ahora que hemos hablado un poco de lo que es la trama vamos a centrarnos en las cosas positivas que tiene esta película por ejemplo en primer lugar podemos ver a un Godzilla totalmente reinventado y con características únicas que no hemos visto en los Godzilla hechos en producciones estadounidenses. Para empezar este Godzilla está muy bien desarrollado se ve que es un personaje imponente e incluso su aspecto es sumamente legendario algo que me llamó muchísimo la atención y que me encantó es la manera en la que Godzilla lanza su aliento atómico ya Que las espinas de su cuerpo se salen como para tratar de recargarlo. En segundo lugar puedo destacar que este Godzilla es sumamente poderoso ya que no solamente es una criatura imponente sino que además tiene el poder de la regeneración lo cual le será muy útil en momentos donde es herido y hará que sea una bestia imparable.

Otra cosa que me gustaría destacar de esta película y que la hace una maravilla es que la hicieron productores japoneses es decir que veremos en esta película La esencia original de Godzilla en la historia del cine lo cual es una muy buena razón para verla ya que los que somos fan de Godzilla podremos ver finalmente algo que se asemeje a las producciones originales. Otro punto a favor de esta película es que invirtieron muy bien en el CGI, y aunque claro no usaron absolutamente ninguna maqueta o títere como si lo hacían hace muchísimos años realmente le dan el toque de Gloria a Godzilla al hacerlo muy detallado ya que las escamas las heridas de batalla e incluso hasta las espinas y los dientes son muy bien hechos.

Secondly, I can highlight that this Godzilla is extremely powerful as it is not only an imposing creature but also has the power of regeneration which will be very useful in moments where it is injured and will make it an unstoppable beast.

Another thing that I would like to highlight about this movie and that makes it a marvel is that it was made by Japanese producers, that is to say that we will see in this movie the original essence of Godzilla in the history of cinema, which is a very good reason to see it, since those of us who are Godzilla fans will finally be able to see something that resembles the original productions. Another point in favor of this movie is that they invested very well in CGI, and although of course they did not use absolutely no models or puppets as they did many years ago, they really give the touch of glory to Godzilla by making him very detailed as the scales, battle wounds and even the spines and teeth are very well done.

Además destaco algo importantísimo de esta película y es su título ya que revela El paso cronológico de Godzilla a través del tiempo lo cual es un detalle bastante interesante. Además como ya mencioné al principio es sumamente impresionante como esta película siendo lanzada al mismo tiempo que la serie de monarch, no logra perder nunca su esencia y los fans que está generando lo cual hace ver la superioridad de las producciones japonesas a las americanas. Y Por último me gustó la insinuación en la parte final que nos da pie para una posible segunda película.

En fin esto es una breve reseña de lo que fue esta maravillosa película en mi opinión Yo siento que vale la pena verla y aunque no sé cuándo se llega a estrenar en Venezuela o si se va a llegar a estrenar en Venezuela me gustaría volver a verla en excelente calidad y disfrutar mucho mejor del excelente trabajo de CGI y dirección de Takashi Yamazaki. I also highlight something very important about this film and that is its title as it reveals the chronological passage of Godzilla through time which is a very interesting detail. Also as I mentioned at the beginning it is very impressive how this movie being released at the same time as the monarch series, never manages to lose its essence and the fans it is generating which shows the superiority of the Japanese productions to the American ones. And finally I liked the insinuation in the final part that gives us the basis for a possible second movie.

Finally this is a brief review of what was this wonderful film in my opinion. I feel it is worth seeing and although I do not know when it will be released in Venezuela or if it will be released in Venezuela I would like to see it again in excellent quality and enjoy much better the excellent work of CGI and direction of Takashi Yamazaki.
