Movie Review: Loving Adults/Amor adulto (ENG/ESP)
Loving Adults, original title: Kærlighed for voksne, is a Danish thriller film released in 2022 and directed by Barbara Topsøe-Rothenborg and starring Dar Salim and Sonja Richter. This film was based on the novel "Till death do us part" by author Anna Ekberg.

Summary/Resumen:
Leonora (Sonja Richter) discovers that her husband Christian (Dar Salim) is cheating on her with a woman at work who is much younger than her. Chaos breaks out in the family and both spouses push the situation to the limit.

Opinion/Opinión:
This movie combines marital love with crime and the drama is unleashed from the beginning with a scene that leaves the viewer in suspense. For me this drama is phenomenally presented as the hook doesn't let you change the channel. The history begins with a detective relating a case to his soon-to-be-married daughter over an afternoon tea, warning her that marriage is until death and many things can happen in it, which are not always good.
Esta película combina el amor matrimonial con el crimen y el drama se desata desde el principio con una escena que deja al espectador en vilo. Para mí este drama se presenta de manera fenomenal, ya que el gancho no deja que cambies de canal. La historia comienza con un detective relatando un caso a su hija pronto a casarse en una tarde de té, advirtiéndole que el matrimonio es hasta la muerte y que en él pueden ocurrir muchas cosas, que no siempre son buenas.
The history follows the complicated toxic love relationship of Leonora and Christian's marriage that ends up going to unthinkable extremes. The chaos begins when the man cheats on his wife with Xenia (Sus Wilkins) and is discovered. Leonora does not want to separate, as they have a sick teenage son who is starting to recover, however she is not willing to accept Xenia's presence in their marital relationship. She gives her husband an ultimatum to leave her, but he has his own plans. Both become involved in threats and extortions that end in crime and then they devise a plan to avoid being imprisoned.
La historia sigue la complicada relación tóxica de amor del matrimonio de Leonora y Christian que termina llegando a extremos impensables. El caos comienza cuando el hombre engaña a su esposa con Xenia (Sus Wilkins) y es descubierto. Leonora no quiere separarse, ya que tienen un hijo adolescente enfermo que comienza a recuperarse, sin embargo no está dispuesta a aceptar la presencia de Xenia en su relación matrimonial. Le da un ultimátum a su esposo para que la abandone, pero este tiene sus propios planes. Ambos se ven envueltos en amenazas y extorsiones que terminan en crimen y luego idean un plan para no quedar presos.
The twisted love between the spouses grows over time until they find themselves unable to separate, complicit in the vilest and darkest of what a human being is capable of. I thought the performances were incredible and they portray very well the kind of monsters they become in the end. If you like intense and dramatic movies this one will not disappoint.
El retorcido amor que presentan los esposos crece con el tiempo hasta que ambos se ven incapaces de separarse, cómplices de lo más vil y oscuro de lo que es capaz de hacer un ser humano. Las actuaciones me parecieron increíbles y representan muy bien la clase de monstruos en que se convierten al final. Si te gustan las películas intensas y dramáticas esta no te va a defraudar.
