A romantic drama of action and supernatural powers (ESP-ENG)
La película ‘’Mi feliz matrimonio’’ es un cautivador drama de romance fantástico con elementos de acción y dirigido por el director japonés Ayuko Tsukahara . Basada en un popular manga y su serie de anime, esta adaptación captó mi atención desde que comencé a verla gracias a su interesante trama.
La historia se centra en Miyo Saimori, una joven que creció en un mundo donde el respeto y el miedo se basan en los poderes sobrenaturales de las personas. Desafortunadamente, Miyo aparentemente carece de estos poderes, por lo que su familia la desprecia y la trata como una sirvienta. Su madre le ocultó sus poderes siendo ella a penas una bebé para protegerla del mundo, lo que la llevó a tener un crecimiento insignificante y nunca experimentó el amor o el apoyo familiar. Con el objetivo de deshacerse de ella, su padre la envía a la mansión de los Kudo, para casarla con el heredero, un comandante temido por sus poderes y carácter. Sin embargo, el comandante Kiyoka Kudo resulta ser diferente a lo que la gente cree. Su reputación fría y temida se debe a mujeres interesadas y crueles que siempre estuvieron en su vida, pero Miyo logra conquistar su corazón al ser una chica genuina y diferente.
A medida que transcure el filme, ambos protagonistas (Miyo y Kiyoka), descubren que tienen más en común de lo que pensaban, ya que han enfrentado la ausencia de una madre en su niñez y han mantenido sus corazones cerrados con el paso del tiempo.
Tanto la película como el anime me encantaron. Aunque no he leído el manga, sé que la película no sigue fielmente el anime en su totalidad. Hay diferencias notables, como el hecho de que Kiyoka tenga una hermana en el anime pero no en el live action, o que los insectos peligrosos se llamen grotescos en el anime y no en la película. Sin embargo, las actuaciones de los protagonistas en el live action (Mio Imada como Miyo Saimori y Ren Meguro como Kiyoka Kudo) fueron especialmente destacables para mí, aunque el resto del elenco también estuvo bien.
Hubo escenas que realmente me conmovieron, como cuando Miyo prepara el desayuno por segunda vez para Kiyoka y él la elogia sinceramente, lo que provoca que Miyo se sienta abrumada ya que nunca antes había recibido cumplidos y llora de felicidad. Además, las escenas finales, en las que Kiyoka lucha por su vida contra una invasión de insectos peligrosos y Miyo utiliza sus poderes para rescatarlo, también me cautivaron por completo.
Para mí la película nos deja hermosos mensajes a los que debemos prestar atención. Por ejemplo, a través del personaje de Miyo el director nos muestra cómo nuestras circustancias al crecer pueden influir en nuestra forma de actuar y pensar al crecer. El filme también destaca la importancia de no juzgar a las personas por las apariencias y los estereotipos sociales, ya que el comandante Kudo resulta ser alguien diferente a lo que la sociedad pensaba de él. Pero el mensaje más significativo es que el amor y la autenticidad son poderosas herramientas que pueden hacernos superar las adversidades y transformar nuestras vidas y las de otras personas.
Recomiendo ver tanto el live action como el anime, pero puedes comenzar por el anime para tener una mejor comprensión de la historia.
The movie ''My Happy Marriage'' is a captivating fantasy romance drama with action elements directed by Japanese director Ayuko Tsukahara. Based on a popular manga and its anime series, this adaptation caught my attention from the moment I started watching it thanks to its interesting plot.
The story centers on Miyo Saimori, a young girl who grew up in a world where respect and fear are based on people's supernatural powers. Unfortunately, Miyo apparently lacks these powers, so her family despises her and treats her like a servant. Her mother hid her powers from her when she was just a baby to protect her from the world, which led to her insignificant growth and she never experienced family love or support. In order to get rid of her, her father sends her to the Kudo mansion to marry the heir, a commander feared for his powers and character. However, Commander Kiyoka Kudo turns out to be different from what people think. His cold and feared reputation is due to interested and cruel women who were always in his life, but Miyo manages to conquer his heart by being a genuine and different girl.
As the film progresses, both protagonists (Miyo and Kiyoka), discover that they have more in common than they thought, as they have faced the absence of a mother in their childhood and have kept their hearts closed over time.
I loved both the movie and the anime. Although I haven't read the manga, I know that the movie doesn't faithfully follow the anime in its entirety. There are noticeable differences, such as the fact that Kiyoka has a sister in the anime but not in the live action, or that the dangerous insects are called grotesques in the anime and not in the movie. However, the performances of the leads in the live action (Mio Imada as Miyo Saimori and Ren Meguro as Kiyoka Kudo) were especially outstanding for me, although the rest of the cast was also fine.
There were scenes that really touched me, such as when Miyo prepares breakfast for the second time for Kiyoka and he sincerely praises her, which causes Miyo to be overwhelmed as she has never received compliments before and she cries with happiness. In addition, the final scenes, where Kiyoka fights for his life against an invasion of dangerous insects and Miyo uses her powers to rescue him, also completely captivated me.
For me the film leaves us with beautiful messages that we should pay attention to. For example, through the character of Miyo the director shows us how our circumstances growing up can influence the way we act and think as we grow up. The film also highlights the importance of not judging people by appearances and social stereotypes, as Major Kudo turns out to be someone different from what society thought of him. But the most significant message is that love and authenticity are powerful tools that can make us overcome adversity and transform our lives and the lives of others.
I recommend watching both the live action and the anime, but you can start with the anime to get a better understanding of the story.
