An interesting review, thank you for reminding us about this weird movie. No idea how many years ago I've seen it :) Did I recall correctly that there were special glasses to spot the aliens?

The notion of hidden agendas and the existence of an elite controlling the masses adds depth to the narrative, making it more than just a sci-fi action flick.
