Sound of Freedom | Opinión [ESP-ENG]

Apenas hace una semana vine a ver una película que dió mucho de que hablar: SOUND OF FREEDOM y justo dió de que hablar, porque muchos no querían que saliera a la luz, otros querían saber más y otros simplemente querían desmentir una lamentablemente realidad que azota a los niños en todo el mundo durante décadas, en especial a los niños de tercer mundo.

Como Defensora de los Derechos Humanos, definitivamente nuestro lema es la NO tolerancia a la violencia infantil de ningún tipo, así que teniendo ya conocimiento de muchas cosas mencionadas en la película y otras que no, me preparé, lo pensé e invité a mi esposo a verla conmigo, ya que si hay algo que no tolero, es el abuso infantil.

Just a week ago I came to see a film that gave a lot to talk about: SOUND OF FREEDOM and it gave a lot to talk about, because many did not want it to come out, others wanted to know more and others simply wanted to disprove an unfortunate reality that has plagued children all over the world for decades, especially children in the third world.

As a Human Rights Defender, our motto is definitely NO tolerance for child violence of any kind, so having already known many things mentioned in the film and some things not mentioned, I prepared myself, thought about it and invited my husband to watch it with me, because if there is one thing I do not tolerate, it is child abuse.

La película aunque muestra la triste realidad de muchos niños, solo muestra una historia, una familia, cuando son Miles y Miles los casos al rededor del mundo. Y aunque muestra el engaño y una de las tantas formas de operandi que estos grupos de trata tienen, a mi parecer muestran a los malos, como más de lo mismo. ¿Por qué? En toda película donde se habla de prostitución, trata de personas, así como la de Búsqueda Implacable, por ejemplo, muestran a los proxenetas y malos, como un grupo de hombres gordos o muy flacos, feos, con ropa sucia etc, siempre con mal aspecto.

Realmente sus almas están podridas, pero hay algo que olvidamos, una bestia de estas capaz de secuestrar niños para luego venderlos como esclavos sexuales, no solo se viste de Miss, de hombres mal clientes y drogadictos, también se visten de Maestros, Policía, Doctores, Vendedores, Productores de Cine o Tv, e incluso se disfrazan de amigos y lamentablemente también de familia. Se ganan TÚ confianza y la de tu niño o niña, para luego ejecutar su plan. Y por eso siempre estamos más alertas ante la gente con mal aspecto, que ante la gente que presume ser estudiado o estar bien vestido.

Although the film shows the sad reality of many children, it only shows one story, one family, when there are thousands and thousands of cases around the world. And although it shows the deception and one of the many ways in which these trafficking groups operate, in my opinion it shows the bad guys as more of the same. Why? In every film that talks about prostitution, human trafficking, as in Relentless Search, for example, they show the pimps and bad guys as a group of fat or very skinny men, ugly, with dirty clothes etc, always looking bad.

Their souls are really rotten, but there is something we forget, such a beast capable of kidnapping children and then selling them as sex slaves, not only dresses up as Miss, bad male customers and drug addicts, they also dress up as Teachers, Police, Doctors, Salesmen, Film or TV Producers, and even disguise themselves as friends and sadly also as family. They gain YOUR trust and that of your child, and then carry out their plan. And that is why we are always more alert to people who look bad, than to people who presume to be educated or well-dressed.

Esta película sin duda abre los ojos al mundo, sin duda cuenta una historia con un final ¿qué? Triste, para mí es muy triste, porque ya nada ni nadie cambiará lo sucedido. Y sí, eso es mejor que lo que pudo pasar, sin embargo hay una fractura, un daño causado, porque somos ingenuos y confiamos en la gente, en gente que se disfraza de oportunidad.

Mi admiración total a cada persona que tuvo que ver con la producción, edición, dirección de esta película, los actores, las personas que dijeron SI, alcemos las voces. Muchos criticaron y luego salió el caso de la Isla de Jeffrey Epstein, entonces entendieron y es increíble que en pleno siglo XXI se siga creyendo que estás cosas son casi imposibles o increíbles, más aún cuando vivimos en países dónde frecuentemente nuestros niños y adolescentes son víctimas de secuestros y abusos.

¿Podemos ser un Tim? Creo que sí, no hablo de ser un agente federal, dejarlo todo e ir a rescatar niños, hablo de que Tim hizo todo por rescatar a Rocío, por algo que nos falta mucho, EMPATÍA, HUMANIDAD, él vió a sus hijos, a su hija y pensó en que pasaría si en lugar de Rocío, fuera uno de los suyos y es allí, cuando el amor empieza por ti, por los tuyos, cuando podemos ser capaces de amar a otros y hacer algo por ellos.

Can we be a Tim? I think so, I'm not talking about being a federal agent, leaving everything and going to rescue children, I'm talking about Tim doing everything to rescue Rocío, for something that we lack a lot, EMPATHY, HUMANITY, he saw his children, his daughter and thought about what would happen if instead of Rocío, it was one of his own and it is there, when love starts with you, with your own, when we can be able to love others and do something for them.
