Betty in New York (2019) -My opinion

Desde muy pequeña he sentido fascinación por "Betty la fea" en su edición original , de hecho anteriormente elaboré por acá una pequeña reseña sobre esta novela así que como fanática empedernida también lo haré en sus otras versiones.

Since I was very little I have been fascinated by "Ugly Betty" in its original edition, in fact I previously prepared a short review of this novel here, so as an inveterate fan I will also do it in its other versions

La versión que les traigo hoy se llama Betty en Nueva York se estreno en el 2019 y cuenta con un total de 123 episodios,la trama es la misma pero el desarrollo en diferente; Betty una chica de origen latino quien a pesar de ser muy inteligente se le hace difícil encontrar empleo por su apariencia física,en su ardua búsqueda encontró un empleo en la industria de la moda,no era exactamente lo que deseaba Betty para dar sus primeros pasos en su vida profesional pero finalmente aceptó.

The version that I bring you today is called Betty in New York, it premiered in 2019 and has a total of 123 episodes, the plot is the same but the development is different; Betty, a girl of Latin origin who, despite being very intelligent, finds it difficult to find employment due to her physical appearance. In her arduous search, she found a job in the fashion industry. It was not exactly what Betty wanted to take her first steps. in his professional life but finally accepted.

Ella sabía que iba ser complicado aceptar un trabajo donde no encajaba ya que era una chica sin mínimo sentido por la moda su vestimenta y su forma de ser no era para nada parecida a una de las empresas más importantes en el mundo de la confección en Nueva York llamada V&M pues como todos sabemos es la capital de la moda y cuna de los diseñadores mas importantes a nivel mundial.

She knew that it would be difficult to accept a job where she did not fit in since she was a girl with no sense for fashion, her clothing and her way of being was not at all similar to one of the most important companies in the world of clothing in New York. York called V&M because as we all know it is the capital of fashion and the birthplace of the most important designers worldwide.

Beatriz Aurora Rincón al ingresar a V&M se enamora de su jefe ( quien por cierto acababa de asumir la presidencia) la situación se tornó difícil pues no era físicamente la más bonita y la persona menos preferida de la novia su jefe ( ellos tenían aproximadamente 3 años de relación y se iban a casar tenías muchas cosas en común pues ambos padres de la pareja fueron los fundadores de la empresa de la cual eran socios.

When Beatriz Aurora Rincón entered V&M, she fell in love with her boss (who, by the way, had just assumed the presidency). The situation became difficult because she was not physically the prettiest and the least favorite person of her boss's girlfriend (they were approximately 3 years old). relationship and they were going to get married, you had many things in common since both parents of the couple were the founders of the company of which they were partners.

Mi opinión

Cómo les comenté al inicio del post yo he visto la versión colombiana y la versión mexicana así que sabía más o menos el desenlace de la historia y justo fue eso lo que me sorprendió,los cambios en algunos aspectos de la trama como por ejemplo el padre de Betty no era tan estricto ni intenso y la madre fue quien adaptó este papel pues estaba pendiente de las mínimos movimientos de betty y de aventura secreta con su jefe.

As I told you at the beginning of the post, I have seen the Colombian version and the Mexican version so I knew more or less the outcome of the story and that was exactly what surprised me, the changes in some aspects of the plot such as the father Betty's role was not so strict or intense and her mother was the one who adapted this role because she was aware of Betty's slightest movements and her secret affair with her boss.

También Armando Mendoza ( el jefe de Betty) nunca mostró desprecio hacia ella ni asco a pesar de crear un plan de enamorarla para salvar la empresa de la banca rota,a diferencia de las versiones anteriores el siempre fue cariñoso con ella y desde mi perspectiva actuó genuinamente enamorado.Por otro lado Ricardo, el mejor amigo de Armando desde el minuto 1 mostró envidia hacia Armando y fue bastante desleal en múltiples ocasiones, situación que me sorprendió pues en las ediciones pasadas Ricardo era una persona bastante desagradable y con varios defectos pero nunca presento malas intenciones y al contrario era extremadamente fiel a su amigo.

Also Armando Mendoza (Betty's boss) never showed contempt towards her or disgust despite creating a plan to make her fall in love with him to save the company from bankruptcy. Unlike previous versions, he was always affectionate with her and from my perspective he acted genuinely in love. On the other hand, Ricardo, Armando's best friend from minute 1 showed envy towards Armando and was quite disloyal on multiple occasions, a situation that surprised me because in past editions Ricardo was a quite unpleasant person and with several defects but never He had bad intentions and on the contrary he was extremely faithful to his friend.

Otro aspecto que me gustó mucho de esta serie es que la modernidad, particularmente estaba acostumbrada a la versión antigua donde los teléfonos era de tecla 😂 y las computadoras super viejitas jajaja ,al ver esta versión la cual leen la cartas del tarot hasta en una tableta moderna me dejó sorprendida.

Another aspect that I really liked about this series is that modernity, particularly I was used to the old version where the phones were key 😂 and the computers were super old hahaha, when I saw this version which they read the tarot cards even on a tablet modern surprised me.
