Truth be told, I have watched so many suspense movies that I could say got a lot of suspense but this particular movie ticks all my bucket list when I am talking about a movie carrying suspense from the beginning to the end.
So when I saw suspense as the contest theme, this movie came into my mind, not inky because I have it on my phone but because when I am lazy and less busy, I constantly go back to re-play the movie because of our intriguing and suspenseful it was for me.
You know when you stand by the mirror and have a bug right under your eyes but still can not see it, that's how I saw this movie, I mean I kind of suspected everyone but not realizing that the big was actually the person I was looking at and commending for being truthful and honest irrespective of the chaos happening. Lol, funny right?
That's what I thought too, how I suspected almost everyone and even suspected the lead actor, that he could be playing a foul one because of the outcome of the whole scenario not even realizing that the only person who was determining how the scenario looked like, was the person I was commending.
An FBI agent who works at the White House as a Night Action telephone operator receives an unwanted call from Rose Larkin, a young cybersecurity entrepreneur and the niece of two Night Action agents about the death of her two only surviving family and with the help of Peter was able to get out of the house and away from the assassins who were sent to kill her aunt and her uncle that night.
Peter Sutherland realizes that they're a mole at the highest levels of the United States government who did not only conspire to kill Rose's aunt and uncle but also were after her life and the lives of everyone they made contact with. He plunges into a desperate hunt for the traitor while protecting Rose Larkin from the people who murdered her aunt and uncle but not realizing that the traitor is the person who had picked him up and placed him to watch over Rose while he gives information, makes a report and informs her of their every move and plans.

What I loved about the movie is the suspense that came with the movie, the confusion, the thinking, the guessing, and the bond.
What I hated about the movie is the death of Erik Monks the new agent assigned as a guard to the Vice President's daughter, he had plans of making restitution to his daughter for the lost years but died protecting the Vice President's daughter, Peter, and Rose as well. I felt pained that he did not live to make his plan work.
The movie kind of made me understand that in a world filled with traitors, pretenders, and backstabbers, there are thousands of people out there who could still be trusted.
Peter's friend died trying to help save the life of Rose even at the expense of forfeiting his date that night of his death, it shows that true friends still exist out there.
Being nice to people we come across in life, could help us because we never know when we might need them to help us.

The part Peter god's father could still boldly tell the two agents who came looking for Peter in his house that his godson may be anything but not a traitor even though his father was tagged as one before his death and the scandal that came with the bombing of the moving train but his godson isn't the right person they should be suspecting. He stood for his godson even though it's been years since they talked, even though their relationship was rocky, he did not use that opportunity to speak badly about him when the situation arose.
The scene that still pops in my head, is the part when Peter realized that all along, the traitor was the person he thought was the only good and loyal person in the government.
Diane Farr, the White House chief of staff, was actually the mole in conspiracy with the Vice President and his accomplice in destroying the government so they could take over and all this while she acted innocent, she left no traces for us to realize, guess or assume that all that was happening was her doings and plans.
Also, the part where Maddie, the vice president's daughter was able to send her location and information using the necklace to her guard without her kidnapper realizing was epic too, I had to replay that part over again to understand.
All the actors/actresses left a great impression on me, their acting skills were top-notch and epic.
Being able to drag such suspense is enough for me to realize that they were at their best and great too.
That's what a great movie should look like. It ended pleasantly and it is one of the best movies watched this year.

I haven't seen the movie though but with the review, I can tell that it will be super interesting. I love action, take away guns from movies... It gets boring.
Would you like to join the dreemport marathon? Or do you have a team already?
Let's team up if you haven't...
Yeah, it's quite an interesting movie, I would recommend and yeah, I am an all-around movie freak, except it is a village setting, I watch everything.
The name sounds interesting, would love to know what the team is all about and would love to be part of it too.
