The Artist Rosa Barba

Hey dear community, at the beginning I would like to welcome you to my new contribution and hope you have a week so far which is full of interesting experiences! In this article I would like to talk about art and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.

The creator of these works of art is the Italian visual artist Rosa Barba who was born in Sicily in 1972 and has lived in Germany since her childhood and the special thing about her art is that she is using different things from films and creates her own works of art from them. She studied theatre and film in the Franconian city of Erlangen and got to know more and more different elements of films and a few years later in the year 1995, she went to Cologne where she deepened her knowledge even more and attended an art school for media. She is also interested in nostalgic things from film history which she transforms into works of art together with unique ideas and often she also creates kinetic works and connects different aspects with each other. One of her ideology is that she creates works that should stand out from classic film and goes one step further and transforms the film into a physical object and for this, she works alone or in a team and her art is now appreciated worldwide and she visited exhibitions in various countries and also visited some film festivals to present her art such as the Biennale di Venezia. Rosa likes to be inspired by landscapes and disassembles things and puts them together completely new and she always tries to create her work in such a way that the viewers can also concentrate on the individual parts and each of her works is an absolute special thing which tells a whole story.
