Review ||✨TURNING RED✨|| Disney+ Movie (2022) [ESP/ENG]
Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️
Hoy es domingo, un buen día...y también pretexto para mirar algunas películas, muy temprano, luego de revisar el catálogo de Disney y Pixar en la plataforma Disney+, me interesó mucho un film muy sonado ya que detrás de esa tierna y peluda apariencia en la que se convertía una pequeña niña, esto escondía un significado mucho más grande, un tema importante que recae sobre todo en los adolescentes pero al ser tabú no llega la información como debería, y creo que con esta película lo supieron manejar muy bien, y no es para menos al ser producida, dirigida y escrita en su mayoría por mujeres, liderando el nombre de Domee Shi, una mujer que ha venido trabajando desde hace mucho tiempo en buenas y aceptadas producciones y que al fin en 2022 logra estrenar esta película titulada TURNING RED, que maneja una historia un poco lo que vienen trabajando últimamente los productos y guionista de Pixar y Disney, un transfondo, un mensaje reflexivo detrás de toda la animación. Si te interesa te invito a leer un poco más de que va.
En mi opinión, más allá del mensaje que quisieron representar de la adolescencia, está historia se centra sobre todo en la experiencia un tanto amarga para las mujeres o niñas e etapa entrante a la adolescencia , ya que la protagonista Mei Lee, nos mostrará un poco todo ese proceso un tanto diferente y no literal, pqra no asustar a los niños 😅. Estos cambios según aprecie, vienen representados por un panda gigante rojo, que según leyendas chinas ancestrales, pueden significar algo, em este caso yendonos a la historia de la película, este animal tiene una conexión tanto con la niña como con el resto de integrantes mujeres de la familia de Mei.
Obviamente y como todo niño en esa etapa de transición, la primera emoción son los miedos, nuestro cuerpo va cambiando sin ninguna razón o explicación, y en el caso de la mujeres aparece el sangrado o la menstruación, que creo fue justo este punto el que quisieron representar tanto con la niña y sus repentinas transformaciones al panda, y lo más curioso es que esto solo ocurría cuando Mei tenía alguna alteración emocional, otro punto a favor en esta comparación.
Pero cuál es el fin más allá de representar todos estos cambios que vivimos en la realidad disfrazados (literal) en un intimidante pero tierno animal, pienso que en la manera como Mei junto a sus inseparables amigas y su familia, especialmente en su mamá con quien al principio tiene algunas diferencias, logra aprender a manejarlas y vivir con ello sin que esto interfiera en su felicidad.
Mi puntuación para esta película sería un 8 de 10, para mí fue muy entretenida y creo que para cualquier niño también lo será. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció 😸.

Today is Sunday, a good day.... and also pretext to watch some movies, very early, after reviewing the catalog of Disney and Pixar on the Disney+ platform, I was very interested in a very popular film because behind that tender and hairy appearance in which a little girl became, this hid a much greater meaning, an important issue that falls especially in adolescents but being taboo information does not reach as it should, and I think that with this film they knew how to handle it very well, and it is not for less being produced, directed and written mostly by women, leading the name of Domee Shi, a woman who has been working for a long time in good and accepted productions and that finally in 2022 manages to release this film entitled TURNING RED, which handles a story a little what the products and screenwriter of Pixar and Disney have been working lately, a background, a reflective message behind all the animation. In my opinion, beyond the message they wanted to represent of adolescence, this story focuses mainly on the somewhat bitter experience for women or girls and the stage entering adolescence, as the protagonist Mei Lee, will show us a little bit different and not literal process, so as not to scare the children 😅. These changes are represented by a giant red panda, which according to ancient Chinese legends, can mean something, in this case and going to the story of the film, this animal has a connection with both the girl and the rest of the female members of Mei's family.
Obviously and as every child in that transition stage, the first emotion are the fears, our body is changing without any reason or explanation, and in the case of women appears the bleeding or menstruation, which I think was just this point that they wanted to represent both with the girl and her sudden transformations to the panda, and the funny thing is that this only happened when Mei had some emotional alteration, another point in favor of this comparison.
But what is the purpose beyond representing all these changes that we live in reality disguised (literally) in an intimidating but cute animal, I think in the way Mei together with her inseparable friends and her family, especially her mom with whom at first she has some differences, manages to learn to handle them and live with it without this interfering with her happiness.
