Review || ONCE UPON A CRIME || Netflix Fantasy movie (2023) [ESP/ENG]
Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️ hoy les quiero compartir una recomendación de un genero quizás fuera de lo cotidiano, y la verdad que a mí también me sorprendió y les diré la razón.
Esta historia de origen japonés mezcla varias historias en una, y lo que al principio parece ser la búsqueda de un misterioso asesino, poco a poco nos damos cuenta que los guionistas y dl directo quisieron darle más un toque de humor rozando la parodia de las historias originales, tanto de Caperucita roja como de Cenicienta, entre otras, en un ambiente de mucha magia y fantasía, un poco loca y disparatada a la vez.
Si, leyeron bien, y para mí sorpresa también me impresionó encontrarme con una parodia o versión actualizada de los emblemáticos cuentos de Caperucita y Cenicienta...en dónde involucran un asesinó?, quien seria capaz con tan cuidado historial de héroes, algún motivo? o solo el deseo de hacerlo...solo lo sabemos en esta historia de investigación criminal ambientada en el maravilloso mundo medieval y campestre de los clásicos cuantos infantiles, que dicho sea de paso...no es para nada una historia para niños o menores de edad por contener algunas escenas violentas o imágenes crudas muy explícitas.
Cómo les comenté antes, al principio la historia parece un remake de ambas historias, tanto de Caperucita como de Cenicienta, por un lado tenemos a la pequeña y muy astuta niña con la capa roja (Kanna Hashimoto) quien siente mucha curiosidad por el mundo que la rodea, con la diferencia que aquí no hay abuela ni lobo que pueda amenazar su vida. Por otro lado tenemos a Cenicienta (Yuko Araki) quien si aparenta llevar el guión original al convivir con una madrastra y una hermanastra que no sienten ningún tipo de aprecio y la tratan con un servicio personal. En un momento determinado ambas se conocen y surge entre ellas un bonito lazo de apoyo, con un poco de magia como ayuda para que Cenicienta sea feliz y experimente el amor que hace mucho no tiene. Allí entra el príncipe (Takanori Iwata) quien anuncia un gran baile para encontrar a su princesa, pero algo ocurre cuando de camino al baile, Caperucita y ceniciento se topan con un extraño cadáver que resulta estar involucrado con la realeza. Desde ese momento todos los invitados del baile se convierten en sospechosos. Es entonces cuando el ingenio de detective de Caperucita comienza contra el reloj coleccionando todas las pistas y armar una historia coherente de lo realmente sucedido para descubrir el verdadero asesino...y el paradero de la zapatilla de cristal que tendrá mucha más relevancia de la que imaginamos.
Esta película es bastante nueva en la plataforma estrenada este mes, con una duración de 1 hora aproximadamente con varios momento humor y parodia a los clásicos cuantos de Cenicienta y Caperucita ambientada en un misterioso asesinado de quién seguramente el sospechoso sea el menos esperado. Mi puntuación para esta película sería un 8 de 10. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció 😸.

This story of Japanese origin mixes several stories in one, and what at first seems to be the search for a mysterious murderer, little by little we realize that the screenwriters and the director wanted to give it a touch of humor bordering on parody of the original stories, both Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella, among others, in an atmosphere of lots of magic and fantasy, a little crazy and crazy at the same time.
Yes, you read that right, and to my surprise I was also shocked to find a parody or updated version of the iconic tales of Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella...where they involve a murder...who would be capable with such a neat hero's background, any motive...or just a desire to do it? who would be capable with such a careful history of heroes, any motive? or just the desire to do it...we only know in this story of criminal investigation set in the wonderful medieval and country world of the classic children's stories, which by the way...is not at all a story for children or minors because it contains some violent scenes or very explicit crude images.
As I mentioned before, at the beginning the story seems to be a remake of both stories, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella, on the one hand we have the little and very clever girl with the red cape (Kanna Hashimoto) who is very curious about the world around her, with the difference that here there is no grandmother or wolf that can threaten her life. On the other hand we have Cinderella (Yuko Araki) who seems to carry the original script by living with a stepmother and stepsister who do not feel any kind of appreciation and treat her with a personal service. At one point the two meet and a nice supportive bond emerges between them, with a little magic thrown in to help Cinderella be happy and experience the love she hasn't had for a long time. There enters the prince (Takanori Iwata) who announces a grand ball to find his princess, but something happens when on the way to the ball, Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella come across a strange corpse that turns out to be involved with royalty. From that moment on, all the guests at the ball become suspects. It is then that Little Red Riding Hood's detective wits begin to race against the clock collecting all the clues and piecing together a coherent story of what really happened to uncover the real killer...and the whereabouts of the glass slipper which will have much more relevance than we imagined.
This movie is fairly new on the platform released this month, with a duration of about 1 hour with several humorous moments and parody to the classic Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood set in a mysterious murder of whom surely the suspect is the least expected. My score for this movie would be an 8 out of 10.
