Love for The Hawkeye

Last month my kids dragged me to the beach, much to my chagrin. I realized that I hadn't picked up a camera in awhile so I knew I had to bring something.

What to bring? I didn't want anything too special that would be messed up by the sand, but I wanted a medium format. My choice was the Brownie Hawkeye.

I don't give it enough love. There is something about that slight blur that makes these images come from a different time.

I love the beach, but I always forget that I do. Perhaps with more images like this I won't soon forget it.

Camera: Kodak Brownie Hawkeye
Film: Kentmere Pan 400
Developed in Caffenol as always and scanned with the Epson V600.

It's good to see you back here! :)
I really like the pictures coming by the joint forces of you and that special camera. Real cinematic charisma, if I may say...
