As children, they were close friends, but as time went by, they went their separate ways. “Margo” has become a legend at school, famous for her adventures and free spirit.

Until one fine night, “Margo” appears at “Quentin’s” window and invites him to settle several scores against people she believes have wronged her. “Quentin” sees this as an opportunity to reconnect with “Margo.” They spend an unforgettable night. They spend one night together, but the next morning, “Margo” disappears, leaving only a few clues as to her whereabouts.

Determined to find her, Quentin embarks on a journey with his friends “Ben” (Austin Abrams) and “Radar” (Justice Smith), and Margo’s friend, “Lacey” (Halston Sage). The clues lead “Quentin” to discover more about Margo and to question what he really knew about her. The search culminates in a journey that defies expectations and reveals truths about friendship, love and identity.

Actor Nat Wolff, who played Quentin, delivers a convincing performance, demonstrating the character's vulnerability and growth throughout the film. Delevingne, as Margo, brings a magnetic and enigmatic presence, although her screen presence is more limited than the film's trailer suggests. The supporting cast, especially Austin Abrams and Justice Smith, provide comic relief and moments of camaraderie that enrich the narrative.

“Paper Towns” explores several themes, such as the idealization of others, the search for identity and the transition from adolescence to adulthood. The film highlights how people can create idealized versions of others based on their own expectations and desires, without really knowing the person behind these illusions. “Quentin”, throughout his search, realizes that Margo is more than the mysterious and adventurous person he always imagined.

Jake Schreier directs the film with a sensitive touch, balancing moments of humor and introspection. David Lanzenberg’s cinematography captures the suburban atmosphere of Orlando and the beauty of the road trip, enhancing the sense of adventure and discovery. Olá! Pessoal, hoje aqui no @dreloop07, falarei sobre outro filme bastante interessante, que as “Cidades de papel”, dirigido por “Jake Schreier”, inspirado no romance homônimo de “John Green”, que mistura drama com mistério.

O filme é estrelado por Nat Wolff como “Quentin” “Q” Jacobsen e "Delevingne" como “Margo Roth Spiegelman”. A história se desenrola em volta de “Quentin, um jovem normal do ensino médio que vive de maneira monótona em Orlando, Flórida. "Quentin" sempre gostou da sua enigmática vizinha e colega de escola, “Margo”. Quando Crianças, eles eram amigos próximos, mas com o passar do tempo, seguiram caminhos diferentes. “Margo” se tornou uma lenda na escola, ficou muito famosa por suas aventuras e espirito livre.
