Impressions of Apocalipsis Z: El principio del fin
Movies about zombies have become a fashion in theaters, and of course I'm a little fond of them, although I must confess that they are all very similar even so I find them good or entertaining, sometimes I also look at their plots or dramas. “Apocalypse Z: El principio del fin” is a Spanish film of genre Action-Terror, I want to emphasize that it has very good performances and I really liked that they integrated a beautiful tabby cat named Lucullus, as I love the kittens and this to my personal experience added a tender and interesting plus.
It has great famous actors such as Francisco Ortiz, the Mexican of Lebanese origin José María Yazpik and the actress Berta Vázquez, who many will remember for the famous series Vis a vis, they give very good performances.
The film begins with a regrettable loss of the protagonist, his wife has died in a tragic accident, he is left alone with his beloved cat who does not leave him alone under any circumstances because he becomes his faithful companion.
After a year a strange chaos begins to happen, a virus begins to spread rapidly and those infected are infected in seconds giving them a dark and very violent appearance. The lives of many are in danger, Manel (Francisco Ortiz) is in constant communication with his sister who is living in another state of Spain so she asks him to go with her as soon as possible.
From this point on, the governmental entities begin a massive movement to “protect” the population in a forced way, Manel does not want to leave, so he hides with his little Cat, until he manages to mislead the military and manages to stay successfully. I do not want to make too many revelations of the film, but it is after all this that begins a series of events that put at risk the lives of the protagonists for the search of being able to get out alive from this infected place.
Apocalipsis Z - Tráiler Oficial
Well, as I mentioned before, it is not a film that will surprise you, or where you will see something new, it is one of these Post apocalyptic films where the human being fights with all his strength for his life and finds himself in a hostile, disastrous environment with little chance of coming out unscathed.
In fact, I dare say it has a bit of similarity to every other zombie movie or some killer creature feature. The kitten gave it a bit of freshness and reminded me of A Quiet Place: Day One but the difference is that Lucullus is really loud (laughs), I like that it raises awareness of how important a pet's life is and that it's worth as much to many of us as a family member's life. So for that and a few other things I can say that I liked it, I'm sorry I'm weak when it comes to animals (laughs).
It can be watched as a family, in fact, I know the kids would love it, yes, it can be a little gore in some parts, but it's not something that can't be endured. I would give it a score of 7.5/10, it is watchable and I hope there will be a sequel because I was left with an open ending. thank you so much for everything! Regards.

I also laughed when you said lucullus is really loud. Mmm I’m just curious to see how the cat was able to keep him going. In such an environment, it definitely would be hard keeping a pet… okay I’ll find out soon.
Sii meowed too much then there were nerves, I hope you can see her! thank you very much for stopping by!😀
