Don't Move - Appearances can be deceiving (Review)
As soon as this movie came out on streaming platforms I did not think twice to see it, its cover caught my attention and of course its name is not far behind, I must say that it is one of the genres that I like the most and also I usually predict a little what will happen because almost always these movies have a pattern.
“Don't Move” is a Suspense Horror movie and a bit of drama as well. A super fact is that when I saw its actors there was one that caught my attention immediately, and is that I was a follower of “American Horror Stories” and I have seen all its seasons, so I saw that the actor Finn Wittrock was in it, but I did not investigate too much because I like to see the movies without any Spoilers, but I knew that because he was in it it would be good.
If you are a fan of thriller, horror movies this one might be for you, a pretty girl is in a secluded part of town and is going through a difficult time since she lost her little boy. There's not too much detail as to why, but she is immersed in grief.
Things start to get murky when she is about to do something against her life, a man appears wanting to avoid any tragedy, but what she does not know is that behind this man who appears to be kind, hides a deep and dark secret and has malevolent intentions.
There was something very particular about this character who is a criminal that said to me well, it's different in that aspect to other movies I've seen, and that was that this man had a normal life and hid his killer instinct.

On the other hand, I liked it, it was entertaining, but a little slow and I must also say that some silly things happened, which is normal sometimes in movies, I just felt it was too obvious. It's not the best of them all, but it can be enjoyed.
Increasingly, the film industry brings to the screen stories inspired by people who are murderers or psychopaths and who are often close people who have a common life, family and are even “exemplary”, but end up being a facade to hide their evil.
I would give it a score of 6.5 out of 10. This is Dina speaking, thank you very much for reading me! Have a great weekend.
