Hello movies and TV shows lovers!
I just finished watching a series called longing for you. This series has fourteen episodes, and the last episode aired last September. At first I wasn't interested in watching this drama because the main character was not my favorite actor. However, my cousin has watched it and she said that this series is good. So, I decided to binge watch it. Honestly, when I first started watching this series, I didn't have any expectations at all, but after watching, I wanted to make a review.

Plot

Oh Jin Sung, a regional detective who is known as a troublemaker suddenly has to move to the capital to investigate murder cases that occurred in several cities, one of which occurred in his area. He and several colleagues investigated the murder, until finally all the evidence pointed to his younger brother, Oh Jin Woo. Oh Jin Sung is sure that his brother was framed, so he looks for evidence until he finally finds the real perpetrator of the serial murder. His younger brother was acquitted of the charges, but unfortunately he was found unconscious on the beach before being declared brain dead and died. At first Oh Jin Sung thought that what happened to his brother was an accident, but a year later he received a video about it from anonymous. The video shows that what happened to his brother a year ago was murder. While investigating who killed his brother, Oh Jin Sung and his team discovered the fact that the serial murder case that occurred had something to do with his brother's murder. More than that, there is something more terrible behind Oh Jin Woo's death.

My opinion about this series

As I mentioned above, at first I had no expectations of this series, but after watching two episodes I started to be interested and curious about the continuation. In terms of story, it is quite complicated and difficult to predict, but that's what makes us curious about the end of the story. There are many plot twists in the story of this drama. There are many evil characters in this drama, but honestly when I finished watching this I couldn't hate these villains. Because they all have reasons that make me emotional, but I still don't condone their evil actions. In terms of story, I think this drama is quite interesting.

Then I think the characters in this drama are crazy. The main character, Oh Jin Sung, is played by Na In Woo. Honestly, this is the first time I watched a drama from Na In Woo because he is a newcomer and not very famous. However, he played the character Oh Jin Sung very well. I really didn't know that he was good at acting. Another main character, Prosecutor Ko Young Ju, is played by actress Kim Ji Eun. Unlike Na In Woo, I have often watched Kim Ji Eun's dramas and I know that she is good at acting. In this drama she also played a very good role. Then next is the character Cha Young Woon, played by actor Kwon Yul. I've often watched Kwon Yul's dramas and he is more often a villain. But in this drama, he is the one who deserves the most pity and the most hurt. Kwon Yul's acting was so good that it made me cry in the last episode. Apart from the three actors above, other actors have also worked hard to play their roles in this drama. They all deserve praise for their acting skills.

There is a little that I want to criticize, namely several scenes that I think are not really necessary. But I think the scene is not too disturbing and is still acceptable. Over all, this series is good and I highly recommend watching it. I am very satisfied watching this drama and do not regret binge watching.
