QUEEN CHARLOTTE A BRIDGERTON STORY

I saw this tv show some days back QUEEN CHARLOTTE A BRIDGERTON STORY this movie talked about the queen from the BRIDGERTONS it talks about a young girl who was forced into marriage with KING GEORGE OF ENGLAND. This movie is a fiction with historical drama fact it was inspired by story of the real Queen Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.

I have always had a thing for historical drama, especially from the British, I love how they talk, the clothes they put on, their horses and carriages. In this particular historical drama their custumes didn’t disappoint at all, show casing of different meals, But I particularly loved this one because of its story line, Charlotte was betrothed by her brother to marry King George whom she never knew from adams, she didn’t know how and what he looks like, if he was kind or rude, or if he was handsome or even a monster but only met him on the day she arrived the palace which was the day of their wedding, she was trying to go over the walls to escape from being married to him when she met a man who she didn’t know he was but told him to help get over the walls.

He was nice to her, he introduced himself as the king, to her greatest surprise he was handsome and kind but little did she know that he was a “mad king” he was only going to get married to have children to please his mother, but along the line he fell madly inlove with too but still didn’t change the fact that had an illness because he was a mad king, somehow the queen didn’t really enjoy her marriage.

I watched it straight in day because like i said I have a thing for historical dramas, and this show was brought out from one of my favorite shows, it had just six episodes so I couldn’t wait I just had to sit for more than five hours straight to watch it.

Young Queen charlotte whose real name India Armateifio was the centre of the show, I love how she embodied the character that was assigned to her, I loved how she stood by her king even when she had every reason and evidence to leave.

Conclusion
Overall it was a great story, an absolute master piece, exceptional cast and acting, such a great romantic and magical experience!
