The Mother (Review) [ENG-ESP]

In recent days, in my Netflix account have advertised a series of movies that have caught my attention, each of them have received good reviews, comments and above all I have read good reviews of them, many are loaded with lots of action, adventure and beyond that leave a great message that makes us reflect and think, as any of us could go through a similar situation to some of its plots. So this time I decided to see a film where you can see how anguish, desperation and fear come together in such a tragic and at the same time very worrying way when the life of a child is in danger and it is here where it shows us what things a mother is willing and how far a mother can go to defend and protect her child.

A production known as The Mother, released a few days ago. Where we are immersed in a story of crime, war, conflict, arms trafficking and above all how each of the people who are there must cover their backs, because a wrong move can cause a major disaster in that kind of environment. The mother will have to fight until the last second and not give up until she has her daughter safe, going through many challenges and adventures that will make us think, however, it has scenes with some details that are a little exaggerated, I think that for this production to become a success and capture the attention of the public.

En los últimos días, en mi cuenta de Netflix han publicitado una serie de películas que me han llamado mucho la atención, cada una de ellas han recibido buenas críticas, cometarios y sobre todo he leído buenas reseñas de las mismas, muchas están cargadas de mucha acción, aventuras y más allá de eso dejan un gran mensaje que nos hace reflexionar y pensar, ya que alguno de nosotros podría pasar por una situación parecida a alguna de sus tramas. Así que estaba vez decidí ver una película donde se nota como la angustia, la desesperación y el miedo se unen de manera tan trágica y a la vez muy preocupante cuando está en peligro la vida de un hijo y es aquí donde nos muestra que cosas está dispuesta y hasta dónde puede llegar una madre por defender y proteger a su hijo.

Una producción conocida como The Mother, estrenada hace unos días. Donde nos sumergimos en una historia de crimen, guerra, conflictos, tráfico de armas y sobre todo como cada una de las personas que están allí deben cubrirse la espalada, ya que un mal movimiento puede ocasionar un gran desastre en ese tipo de ambiente. La madre tendrá que luchar hasta el último segundo y no rendirse hasta tener a salvo a su hija, pasando por muchos desafíos y aventuras que nos hará pensar, sin embargo, cuenta con escenas con algunos detalles que son un poco exagerados, pienso que para que esta producción se convirtiera en un éxito y captara la atención del público.

This kind of movies are great for each of the situations that will have to go through this mother who believes she is invincible and no one can stop her, joining these two elements you can imagine how will be the development of this film, telling scenes that are very good and one is left wondering how they managed to do all that. Also, being part of the FBI is not easy and it requires a lot of courage, dedication, strength and fortitude to take a gun and be part of that team, since the responsibilities they have are very large and impressive. Undoubtedly a mother who is driven by her instincts, that adrenaline, the desperation of not letting anyone touch her daughter despite each of the adversities that are observed throughout the film.

Este tipo de películas son geniales por cada una de las situaciones que tendrá que atravesar esta madre que se cree invencible y nadie la podrá detener, uniendo esos dos elementos se imaginaran cómo será el desenvolvimiento de esta película, contando escenas que son muy buenas y uno se queda pensando como lograron hacer todo eso. Además, formar parte del FBI, no es nada fácil y se requiere de mucha valentía, dedicación, fortaleza y fuerza para tomar un arma y formar parte de ese equipo, puesto que las responsabilidades que tienen son muy grandes e impresionantes. Sin duda una madre que se deja llevar por sus instintos, esa adrenalina, la desesperación de no dejará que nadie toque a su hija a pesar de cada una de las adversidades que se van observando a lo largo de la película.

Another aspect that I really liked is to see the affection, love and trust that is being created between the mother and daughter, despite the time they had not seen each other's faces and did not give each other a hug, a great atmosphere and a great relationship is created. Demonstrating each of these values, trust, security and respect between parent and child, which will always be of great importance in life. However, one of the things that caught my attention and I wondered why abandon a young child, do they have to hurt and put a child's life at risk for the mother to show up, and many other things that I thought at the end of watching it.

There are also several scenes that are somewhat exaggerated, as the case where the protagonist carries and runs with a gun knowing that this is heavy, as well as the change of countries where the film is developing, in some scenes are in a place and suddenly change being something shocking, as is the case when the daughter's life is in danger. Beyond an action movie where a mother and daughter are in danger, things can not always go well, so teamwork will always be better than being alone, to forge a great relationship and be invincible.

Otro de los aspectos que me gustó mucho es ver el cariño, amor y la confianza que se va creando entre la madre y la hija, a pesar del tiempo que tenían de no verse las caras y que no se daban un abrazo, se crea un gran ambiente y una gran relación. Demostrando cada uno de esos valores, la confianza, la seguridad y el respeto entre padre e hijo, que siempre será de gran importancia en la vida. Sin embargo, una de las cosas que me llamo la atención y me pregunte ¿Por qué abandonar a un hijo pequeño?, ¿Tienen que lastimar y poner en riesgo la vida de un hijo para que la madre aparezca?, y muchas otras cosas que pensé al finalizar de verla.

También hay varias escenas que son algo exagerada, como el caso donde la protagonista carga y corre con un arma de fuego sabiendo que eso es pesado, así como también el cambio de países donde se van desarrollando la película, en unas escenas están en un lugar y de repente cambian siendo algo impactante, como es el caso cuando la vida de la hija está en peligro. Más allá de una película de acción donde una madre y una hija corren peligro, no siempre las cosas pueden salir del todo bien, por eso el trabajo en equipo siempre será mejor que estar solo, para así forjar una gran relación y ser invencibles.

One of the things that also impacted me and I liked to see, is the role of the main protagonist, which is Jennifer Lopez, as she takes the role of an assassin, causing a great impact, since that is not her style and it was the first time she did something like that. She has great responsibilities and her way of thinking and doing things during the movie are very good, so much so that she receives support from many to find and protect her little girl from all those terrorists. Another of the characters that I liked is the little daughter, since she knew how to play a good role, how to defend herself and face in that world of kidnappings, both characters that represent a small family show a great affection and each time they become stronger.

Una de las cosas que también me impacto y me gusto ver, es el papel de la protagonista principal, la cual es Jennifer López, ya que toma el papel de asesina, causando un gran impacto, puesto que ese no es su estilo y era la primera vez hacía algo de esa manera. Tiene grandes responsabilidades y su forma de pensar y hacer las cosas durante la película son muy buenas, tanto fue así que recibe apoyo de muchos para poder buscar y proteger a su pequeña de todos esos terroristas. Otro de los personajes que me gusto es la pequeña hija, puesto que supo hacer un buen papel, cómo defenderse y enfrentarse en ese mundo de secuestros, ambos personajes que representan una pequeña familia demuestra un gran cariño y cada vez se vuelven más fuertes.

A film that I liked very much and I was surprised by the final result, full of many feelings, human values that are necessary to always keep in mind, where in the end each one is the owner and responsible for the decisions made in life to form their history, however, a mother will always do everything possible to protect and care for their children until the last day of his life no matter what, showing that infinite love.

Una película que me gustó mucho y quede sorprendido por el resultado final, cargada de muchos sentimientos, valores humanos que son necesarios siempre tenerlos presentes, donde a la final cada uno es dueño y responsable de las decisiones que se tomen en la vida para formar su historia, sin embargo, una madre siempre hará todo lo posible para proteger y cuidar a sus hijos hasta el último día de su vida sin importarle nada, demostrando ese amor infinito.
