FAIR PLAY - Movie Review
There are lots of jobs that have rules against employees dating each other, and I'm sure that there are plenty of valid reasons for this rule. But if you have ever thought to yourself that this is silly since it's nobody's business regarding who you are sleeping with and that what happens in your house has nothing to do with what happens on your job, then go ahead and reserve about two hours of your time so you can sit down and watch the movie Fair Play.

Fair Play is a 2023 American dramatic thriller written and directed by Chloe Domont and streaming over on Netflix. The film stars Phoebe Dynevor (Emily) and Alden Ehrenreich (Luke) who recently and secretly got engaged and are working together in a company where the CEO has zero tolerance for inter office dating.
This movie pulled us into the personal and toxic life of Luke and Emily, and as the movie progressed, we found out that despite how together and under control this two young lovers thought they've got everything, their relationship was tested when one of them got a promotion that the other thought was coming to them.

This drove their relationship and everything that they have built together right down the shit hole. I kind of understand some of these issues that occurs in a relationship, but then I think it's best you know when to put a stop to these issues and then come together, work as a couple and work through it or walk away.
Fair Play movie depicts a projection of just how ugly people can be when pride gets involved in the workplace, especially when there is a spouse or a loved one involved, mainly a woman. It also portrays an examination of just how fragile feelings can get when you have careers and money as the trigger.
One of the things that made this movie so compelling for me was its authenticity. I loved the fact that Emily had a deep understanding of the world she was meant to portray, and it showed in every frame of the movie. The movie's dialogue likewise was sharp and believable, and its characters were complex and well-developed.

Another highlight of the film was its performances. Emily and Luke were both excellent as a young couple at the heart of the story. Emily brought a vulnerability and strength to Luke's role, while Luke perfectly played his role as an arrogant and ambitious hedge fund analyst.
Trust me, this movie is a smart, well-made, and thought-provoking one that is sure to stay with you long after the credits roll. It is a must-see for fans of thrillers, dramas, and movies that explore complex social issues.
I really enjoyed this movie because it was compelling, thrilling, and well acted. Fair Play is definitely one that you should add to your watch list. It is important to note here that there are some very strong suggestive and sexual language, as well as some sexual violence, sex, nudity, a little dabble of blood, but there was no bloodshed.
Overall, Fair Play is a highly recommended film for fans of thrillers, dramas, and films that explore complex social issues. Hit me up in the comment section and let's talk about Fair Play because I would love to know what you think about this movie.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
This movie! I wanted to write about it but I couldn't think of an angle to do it from without taking sides so I decided to keep my thoughts to myself.
I loved it though. And I loved the way, she handled everything in the end. Although, the guy became a sacrificial lamb. This is partly her fault because she blurted out that he would be promoted without knowing his full work history and how the management felt about him.
All in all, it was a movie that was worth every minute I spent on Netflix that evening.
Thank you for sharing darling ❤️
Edit: I forgot to add how much I loved the sex scenes 😋🤭😍
Like seriously, she shouldn't have told him that she heard that he would be the next to be promoted. I feel that's actually part of what affected their relationship.
Honestly I also didn't know which side to pick. If you notice, I didn't say anything about that. At some point, I thought Emily wasn't trying her best for Luke but then I will see her putting effort to secure him a promotion.
I was really pissed when he started acting strange to the extent of going to beg his boss for promotion. Who does that?
@iskawrites ...hmmm...ok ok..let me not lie.. I loved the sex scenes too but decided not to talk about it but really, why did you bring that up?... You are a big suspect... Let me reserve my comment.
I plan to see it this weekend. If I like the movie I may write a review.
I bet you will love it.. Fingers crossed 🤞
