No disfrute esta película. No digo que sea mala en si misma. Pero no la disfrute. Me aburrió la mayor parte del tiempo. Cada vez que Nosferatu hablaba me daban ganas de parar la peli y ponerme a hacer otra cosa. Me pareció un resumen de una adaptación libre de la novela "Drácula". Como que no le dan demasiado tiempo a las cosas de suceder y todo se siente medio apurado, abrupto. Ponen a la protagonista a hacer caras feas, no sé si por morbo del director de ver eso retratado en la pantalla. No digo que este mal, ojo. Solo digo que no lo disfruté. Todos los actores hacen un buen trabajo. Willem Dafoe es cool, como siempre. Fresco su papel como Van Helsing. Disfruté verlo hacer lo suyo. Lily-Rose y Nicholas Hoult dieron clases, en especial Lily, ya que la llevan al límite. Siempre está sufriendo. Ya sea que este triste por su esposo o convulsionando por un ataque epiléptico. La dirección está bien, no me pareció mejor que "The Northman" pero tampoco tenía que serlo, supongo que aquí quería hacer una un drama gótico híper lento y bueno, lo consiguió.

I did not enjoy this movie. I'm not saying it's bad in itself. But I didn't enjoy it. I was bored most of the time. Every time Nosferatu spoke, I felt like stopping the movie and doing something else. It felt like a summary of a loose adaptation of the novel "Dracula". They don't give things enough time to happen and everything feels rushed, abrupt. They have the main actress making ugly faces, I don't know if it's the director's morbid curiosity to see that portrayed on the screen. I'm not saying it's wrong, mind you. I'm just saying I didn't enjoy it. All the actors do a good job. Willem Dafoe is cool, as always. His role as Van Helsing is fresh. I enjoyed seeing him do his thing. Lily-Rose and Nicholas Hoult gave performances, especially Lily, as they push her to the limit. She's always suffering. Whether she's sad about her husband or convulsing from an epileptic attack. The direction is fine, it didn't strike me as better than "The Northman" but it didn't have to be, I suppose here, they wanted to make an extremely slow gothic drama, and well, they achieved it.

Claro, se apreciar que la película está muy bien hecha. La producción es impecable. Los escenarios se veían increíbles. Tanto la cuadra de la ciudad en la que caminaban todo el tiempo como los interiores de las habitaciones. Y creo que la dirección apunto a un look antiguo. COmo si la película se hubiera filmado hace mucho tiempo. Está bien logrado. Otra cosas que me gusto fue como se veían las cosas en la noche. La iluminación y colorización de esos momentos me pareció interesante. Fuera de eso fue tortuoso terminar de ver esta entrega de Eggers.

Of course, I appreciate that the movie is very well made. The production is impeccable. The settings looked incredible. Both the city block they were walking through all the time and the interiors of the rooms. And I think the direction aimed for an old-fashioned look. As if the movie had been filmed long ago. It's well achieved. Another thing I liked was how things looked at night. The lighting and coloring of those moments seemed interesting to me. Besides that, it was torturous to finish watching this installment by Eggers.
