As the title says, today I will be sharing with all of you an analysis of the Netflix series “Accident”. And without further ado, let's get started.

Como lo dice el titulo, el día de hoy estaré compartiendo con todos ustedes un análisis de la serie "Accidente" de Netflix. Y sin dar más preámbulo comencemos.

This series is one of the most premiered on the Netflix platform, Accidente, has caught the audience with its enveloping plot of tragedy, mystery and suspense, keeping viewers involved in it until the final denouement. Accidente is a successful Mexican series that has conquered audiences around the world, consolidating itself as one of their favorites. Its plot has taken viewers through a myriad of secrets and deceptions that culminated in what no one ever imagined. Beyond the tragic event that begins the story, the drama explores the emotional consequences throughout the episodes, and with this, the pieces of a riddle would begin to fall into place, revealing the truth and bringing to light unimagined culprits.

Esta serie es una de las más estrenadas en la plataforma de Netflix, Accidente, ha atrapado a la audiencia con su trama envolvente de tragedia, misterio y suspenso, manteniendo a los espectadores envueltos en ella hasta el desenlace final. Accidente, es una exitosa serie mexicana , que ha conquistado al público de todo el mundo, consolidándose como una de sus favoritas. Su trama ha llevado a los espectadores a través de un sinfín de secretos y engaños que culminó en lo que nadie jamás se imaginó. Más allá del evento trágico que da inicio a la historia, el drama explora las consecuencias emocionales a lo largo de los episodios, y con esto, las piezas de un acertijo empezarían a caer cada una en su sitio revelando la verdad y poniendo a la luz a culpables impensados.

It all starts by meeting Emiliano, a family man who has two children named Rodrigo and Lucia, plus a police wife named Daniela. His youngest son Rodrigo is having a birthday and so a big party is organized where his closest friends and family are invited. This family wants without a doubt that their son has the best and biggest birthday, that is why they have placed an inflatable game, where their worker Moncho is responsible for making sure it is well secured and completely ready. Emiliano who is a lawyer is waiting for an important business call where the future of their lives and that of their partners will be defined, the protagonist while he was waiting for the important business call, Rodrigo and his friends decide to get on the inflatable game, on the other hand Emiliano receives the call where the business is accepted and decides to celebrate with his partners, what he does not know and has not realized is that while he celebrates, in the courtyard of his house a tragedy is occurring.

Todo comienza conociendo a Emiliano, un padre de familia quien tiene dos hijos llamados Rodrigo y Lucía, además de una esposa policía de nombre Daniela. Su hijo menor Rodrigo está de cumpleaños y por eso se organiza una gran fiesta donde están invitados sus más íntimos amigos y familiares. Esta familia quiere sin duda que su hijo tenga el mejor y más grande cumpleaños es por eso que han colocado un juego inflable , donde su trabajador Moncho es el responsable de que este quede bien asegurado y completamente listo. Emiliano quien es abogado esta a la espera de una importante llamada de trabajo donde se definirá el futuro de sus vidas y la de sus socios, el protagonista mientras estaba pendiente de la importante llamada de negocios, Rodrigo y sus amigos deciden subirse al juego inflable, por otro lado Emiliano recibe la llamada donde le aceptan el negocio y decide celebrar con sus socios, lo que él no sabe y no se ha dado cuenta es que mientras él celebra , en el patio de su casa está ocurriendo una tragedia.

The central basis of the plot revolves around the accident that unleashes a series of unfavorable events. From the beginning of this story, we are introduced to Moncho as a key character in the progression of this tale, with his actions and decisions directly influencing the fate of several characters. Although, as more information is revealed, it becomes clear that the responsibility for the tragedy is shared and does not fall solely on one individual. Despite Moncho's central role, he is not the only one to blame. The series suggests that several characters, including those acting out of selfish motives or under external pressures, are participants in the disaster. Scenes of pain, resentment and the desire to retaliate flood all those who, for different reasons, are suspected of causing the “Accident”. This is how each of the characters will try to find the light at the end of the tunnel that will help them to get out of the darkness.

La base central de la trama gira en torno al accidente que desata una serie de eventos desfavorables. Desde el principio de esta historia, se nos presenta a Moncho como un personaje clave en el avance de este relato, con sus acciones y decisiones influyendo directamente en el destino de varios personajes. Aunque, a medida que se revela más información, queda claro que la responsabilidad de la tragedia es compartida y no recae únicamente en un solo individuo. A pesar del rol central que tiene Moncho, no es el único culpable. La serie sugiere que varios personajes, incluidos aquellos que actúan por motivos egoístas o bajo presiones externas, sean partícipes del desastre. Escenas de dolor, rencor y el deseo de hacer represalia, inunda a todos aquellos, que por diferentes factores son sospechosos de ocasionar el "Accidente". Es así como cada uno de los personajes tratarán de buscar aquella luz al final del túnel que los ayude a salir de la oscuridad.

As the plot unfolds, we realize that the real culprit of the tragedy that mourned three families is Emiliano, who sent Moncho for ice, even though he had not yet finished setting up the inflatable game for his son's party. At first, Emiliano promised to finish the job; however, he failed to deliver after receiving the expected and important business call.

En el desarrollo de la trama nos damos cuenta que el verdadero culpable de la tragedia que enlutó a tres familias es Emiliano, quien envió a Moncho por hielo, a pesar de que aún no había terminado de instalar el juego inflable de la fiesta de su hijo. Al principio, Emiliano se comprometió a finalizar el trabajo; no obstante, no cumplió con lo prometido tras recibir la esperada e importante llamada de negocios.

In a moment of distraction, the inflatable game had not been properly adjusted to the pavement, which caused a strong blizzard to lift the inflatable off the ground, causing it to take flight with several children inside. Three of the children died and one disappeared. Leaving the families in a deep sea of sadness.

En un momento de distracción, el juego inflable no había sido ajustado de una buena manera al pavimento, eso originó que por medio de una fuerte ventisca el inflable se levantara del suelo provocando que el mismo tomará vuelo con varios niños adentro. Tres de los niños fallecieron y uno desapareció. Dejando así a las familias en un profundo mar de tristezas.

The ending also shows how Emiliano, overwhelmed by remorse, decides to confess the truth, even after having caused Moncho to become guilty. This takes him to jail, where he shares a cell with the father of one of the dead children, who still seeks revenge for the death of his son. The series would end with the two men struggling with their own inner demons, not knowing what the future would bring.

El final también muestra cómo Emiliano, abrumado por el remordimiento, decide confesar la verdad, aún así después de haber ocasionado que Moncho se hiciera culpable. Esto lo lleva a la cárcel, donde comparte celda con el papá de uno de los niños muertos, quien todavía busca venganza por la muerte de su hijo. La serie pondría punto y final mostrando a los dos hombres luchando con sus propios demonios internos sin saber lo que le depararía el futuro.

Beyond the plot of the tragic accident, the series undoubtedly opens a space for reflection on how tragedies can profoundly alter the dynamics of any family or social group. In addition, it shows and teaches us the complexity of human emotions and the different paths that people can take when faced with extreme situations. Accidente has not only captured the audience for its suspenseful plot, but also for the way it explores the consequences of decisions driven by desperation and pain. In its disturbing denouement, the series leaves a clear message to think again and to emphasize the morality and second chances that every human being deserves. Mas allá de la trama del trágico accidente, la serie, sin duda, abre un espacio para la reflexión sobre cómo las tragedias pueden alterar profundamente la dinámica de cualquier grupo familiar o social. Además, nos muestra y enseña la complejidad de las emociones humanas y los diversos caminos que pueden tomar las personas cuando se enfrentan a situaciones límite. Accidente no solo ha capturado a la audiencia por su trama llena de suspenso, sino también por la forma en que explora las consecuencias de las decisiones impulsadas por la desesperación y el dolor. En el desenlace tan perturbador, la serie deja un claro mensaje a recapacitar y a que se haga hincapié en la moralidad y segundas oportunidades que todo ser humano merece. Accidente no sólo es una serie de entretenimiento, sino también un espejo que nos invita a observar nuestra propia humanidad y nuestras reacciones ante la adversidad , no solo muestra la pérdida en sí, sino también cómo este dolor se convierte en una fuerza destructiva que cambia a las personas para siempre.
