Force of Nature: The Dry 2
The journey to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, in the middle of nature and with a perfect view, is often presented to the audience as a life and death struggle. However, when you start watching the movie, you think that you have fully adapted to the atmosphere of the story that you have just adapted to and gotten used to, and that beautiful scenery is suddenly put on the back burner.
It is the fluency of the movie and the progression of the story that makes you forget about the landscape and the atmosphere. Other times, it's the well-executed action scenes that make you forget the importance of the location. The Australian film Force of Nature: The Dry 2 has the kind of scenes that I think will make you watch it in many ways.
First of all, I can say that it was a great pleasure to watch the chain of events taking place in a forested area isolated from people. You fall in love with the landscape, you get to see the most vibrant shades of green. I must say that I found the use of such a beautiful landscape very inadequate in the story.
The movie moves very steadily and this causes you to get disconnected from the story. Actually, the story of the movie is not bad, but the way it is handled and the slowness of the flow; makes you get bored with the movie. I liked the fact that another story was added into the story and that both stories took place in the same location. It creates extra curiosity and makes you watch the movie even if you are bored.
When I think about the location and the theme of the story, I can't help but think that the movie should have been much better. The movie definitely raises expectations from the beginning, but as you watch the movie, you are disappointed in some aspects.
Five women set out to spend a few days in a quiet, tranquil setting, but one of them never returns and the story of Force of Nature: The Dry 2 begins. The search for the missing woman and the puzzle pieces waiting to be solved add a bit of mystery to the movie and succeed in triggering a sense of curiosity.
As I said at the beginning, even though you feel that there are some shortcomings and mistakes in the movie, the movie manages to keep you watching. The most effective factors in this are the triggered sense of curiosity, the excellent scenery, and the way the dramatic story of the character Falk, who joins the movie as a federal agent, is presented piece by piece.
The only person I liked in the movie was Eric Bana, who plays the character of Falk. Both in terms of character and acting, the fact that he presented his own story more successfully within the story of the movie was, in my opinion, the most valuable moments of the movie.
Force of Nature: The Dry 2, I recommend you watch it from several angles. I can also say not to watch it in a few ways. I have tried to explain what these are as much as possible, so I leave it to you to decide whether to watch it or not.
