I never quite saw the fascination in zombie films lol ad it is no wonder this film never came cross my radar. I think this happens with a lot of films we thought were good at the time and are left disappointed 2nd time around.

It's kind of funny how these sorts of films just came out of nowhere, were original for about a year, and then every single movie and TV show was a zombie feature. I think this is the prime example of the industry finding something that the people kind of liked and then just running wild with it until nobody was interested anymore. There is a new spinoff of The Walking Dead right now and few people even are aware of its existence even though it is pretty good. They just did too much and people are tired. 28 weeks later was released during a time that people still cared but instead of sticking to its original sort of feeling they just latched onto the Hollywood mold of making all of these films the same. They got their money back and perhaps that was the objective from the start.
