Series Review: Saving Me
Saving Me is a flash-animated science fiction sitcom created by Aaron Johnston for BYUtv. The show follows the adventures of a grouchy senior billionaire named Bennett Bramble, as he tries to teach himself how to be good and make good choices with his childhood self, Young Bennett, like a Jiminy Cricket-like conscience. Despite his attempts at doing so, his plans constantly backfire, usually resulting in bad things happening or chaos ensuing.
The show is the first animated series to be created for BYU TV. It is produced by Sphere Animation (formerly known as Oasis Animation), a Montreal-based animation studio who is known for their work on the last six seasons of Arthur, the Netflix animated series Kulipari, and Riley Rocket, among others

Good:
- Simple Clean Designs and good animations
- Good Background and Foreground art
- Stories are episodic in nature that features lesson of the day/episode
- voice talents are pretty good
- Last 2 Episodes of the Season 2 is pretty good and very intriguing
Bad:
- Because of the Flash-based Animation style; Certain action scenes dont have that dynamic animation. So limited movement animations
- Action scenes are bit tamed due to the constraints of the Flash based animation.
- certain designs are quite flat and there are no cel shaded shadows in the design.
Verdict:
High Matinee
