Black Cover: Is there really magic in not giving up?

"Never give up is my magic" turned out to be the motto of the protagonist and the antagonist and I must say that I called my attention, as I have always said, both in anime and movies authors try to give messages to their audience through the plot or story, and in this case never give up is one of them, so the question that I have titled this post, which I will try to solve, so join me in doing so arises.
First let's see what the author meant with this expression, the story focuses on a movie called the sword of the Magician King where there is a magician worth the redundancy quite powerful, but was sealed in the past because of his ambition to want to change the whole world under an ideal of life through destruction, for many must destroy to build and Conrad -name of the magician- thinks this is the right way because humanity is rotten because of certain differences that he wants to eliminate.
It all began when his wife and daughter were killed many years ago, from that moment on Conrad who later became an extremely powerful magician king used his magic to carry out his purposes, however there were other magicians who did not agree with his ideal and opposed him until he was sealed in time.
Thus begins the story and from that moment we can see how the author places magic as the main and maximum force, it is what makes the difference between some and others in the kingdom because there are those who have no powers, they are just normal people.
After the mentioned events many years pass and another character appears, this time the protagonist who is called Asta, his personality is that of an impetuous young man who lives altruistically, the only thing that matters to him is that others live well no matter what happens to himself, he is always on the verge of death but is commonly helped by his friends and also enjoys a magical power that is like an antitype of magic, he has a sword that cancels any rival magic.

Just as the antagonist keeps his ideal clear, that everyone lives, then we have a struggle of ideals where one wants to destroy and the other wants to protect, the point is that neither of them gives up because that is their true power, so we can see that the author wants to place perseverance above all as the "power" that leads us to achieve our goals no matter how difficult they may be.
The whole movie focuses on that, years after being sealed Conrad manages to free himself from the seal and returns with an even greater power, he resurrects four former wizard kings who share his same idea and begins a conquest in the kingdom of clover, his generation is already older and some who opposed him have died, now there is only the new generation where the young wizards are the ones who protect the kingdom, and Asta is one of them.
The first time they face each other Conrad is delighted with Asta's power that eliminates magic, but beyond that what impresses him is the phrase in question because he remembers that it is the same that he always had present, that leads him to see in Asta not a rival but a partner and decides to try to "make him understand" and that he joins them in their ambition. As expected, Asta opposes him until the end, which is why the second time they face each other is the definitive one, one of them must die, will destruction or preservation win? At the end of the story we have the answer, the truth is that both persevered until the last moment.

Final impressions / Impresiones finales
The story as such caught my attention, the animation not so much, the characters very different from the usual and that marks a notable difference between the anime of before and the current one, Black Cover is an anime of this generation where they show a youth that believes they can achieve everything, they are carefree and always walk around with a smile from ear to ear as if they enjoy even being on the verge of death. I didn't like that at all, a lot of smiles and forced attitudes, but overall the movie was fine.
The effects in the battles very colorful, Dragon Ball Super type, and each character with a final appearance to the initial, the only one that caught my attention in its design was a young girl named Noelle Silva who is a member of royalty, with her adorn the cover of this post, but ultimately I can only highlight the message of the author, never give up, is what he wanted to communicate and I think it's a good message to some extent because there is a time for everything, even to surrender and abandon certain way of thinking that may be wrong.
Conrad had one ideal and Asta had another, both followed it to the last consequence, is this correct? It is a question that makes each of us think about our own particular situations, so I would like to know your opinion about this, so I wait for you in the comments.

Thanks for reading / Gracias por leer
It's on Netflix, right? I think I saw a review of it recently. I've told you before that I don't watch anime, so there are a lot of anime I haven't seen, especially current ones. I remember watching anime when I was a kid, very old productions. I haven't been able to finish is the anime Monster, it's very good, that kind of anime really catches my attention.
If I remember you told me some time ago that you rarely watched anime, but Monsters is a gem, a real drama really and if you can finish it it would be good because it is an anime with a solid story.
This one I reviewed is on Netflix but it's a movie, that's why I watched it, current anime little catch my attention, this one interested me more than anything the plot the author posed.
I just watched this! I really loved it and also the improvement of animation frame by frame. Also good thing that they showed side story, hoping for the upcoming season of this anime also I am rewatching it now hhaha
