Cine TV Contest #129 - Favorite Movie That Thrills
Hello CineTV
New York City. There is something electric and iconic about the city. It feels like the city somehow represents the United States and is the backdrop for many films. While I haven't been there, it seems like it needs to be on my list of must visits.
So many of you were able to find a film that was set in NYC amd I want to thank everyone that continues to enter the CineTV contests. The energy and commitment to this platform has really astounded me. I appreciate you all and I am so grateful to be a part of this awesome place!
Let's get to the winners!
First Place
The first place finisher was @valentin86 with Hercules in New York, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@valentin86/cinetv-contest-128-hercules-in-new-york-review-one-of-my-favorite-top-movies-of-my-childhood
I have never seen this movie but your choice and your review intruiged me. Arnold walking around NYC as Hercules made me smile. Thank you!
Second Place
The second place finisher was @beckyroyal with their selection of Home Alone 2, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@beckyroyal/cinetv-contest-128-home-alone-2-lost-in-new-york-city
In my opnion, Home Alone 2 isn't as good as the 1st one but this one set in NYC is so iconic. I love the backdrop and this is still a classic film. Congrats!
Third Place
The third place finisher was @rukkie with Now You See Me, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@rukkie/cinetv-contest-now-you-see-me-2013-or-or-review
My son and I just watched this movie and there is something to this being primarily set in NYC. We absolutely loved these movies and the storylines. Thank you!
Congrats!
450 CINE COINS will be transferred to the winners.

Favorite Movie That Thrills
There is truly nothing like an edge of your seat type of film that gets you hooked and keeps your heart racing. Every once in a while you will find that film that sucks you into it and for a brief time you forget that you are watching a movie and you are absorbed into the action. Your thrilling film choice doesn't necessarily have to have that absorbing quality but it should definitely be something that kept your attention like a good thrill ride at an amusement park does!
For this contest, I want you to pick a movie that thrilled you. You could select the film because of the topic, the actors, the storyline, or maybe the high level action, suspense or horror. I am giving you license to pick a film that makes sense for the topic but you have to help me understand why it fits the topic of being thrilling. Your review should back up your choice and give me a reason for its selection if you want to be in the running to win this contest.
Be original and give your most personal and engaging review if you want me to select your entry. Thanks for being here and for engaging with our contests. :)
If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
