Cine TV Community Spotlight #01
Hello and welcome to the FIRST ever Spotlight of the Cine TV Community. In a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community, as well as showcase the work of deserving authors, the Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun.
And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works that we enjoyed throughout the week and to also boost exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.
So, in no particular order, here are the authors spotlighted for our debut segment:

Title: Teen Wolf
I found myself asking that after every season, especially in the Kanima arc of season 2. Why was he hell bent on saving everyone, even the murderers? Such unnecessary obnoxious naivety didn’t make sense to me though, and it just muddled the whole feel of a strong and kind protagonist, making it lean to a strong and stupid one.

Title: Bridge To Terabithia (2007)
One of the many highlights of this story is undoubtedly the relationship of Jess and Leslie, who start out as rivals, but end up being the best friends you can find. Despite not sharing the same tastes and thoughts, one serves as support for the other always, making them a great team. The development of this wonderful relationship that we see born and grow during the film is the best thing we can enjoy about it.

Title: A Stage of Twilight
The most touching scenes of the movie were the moments of two old people holding on to life and the process of separating from each other. The process of acceptance between holding on to life and saying goodbye was a moment-by-moment indication of the change in the characters’ strong stances. Although I didn’t like the final scenes, I must admit that I liked the harmony of the couple and the way they processed and reflected the tragic event that happened to them.

Title: Drive 2024- Star or Flop
The movie did not just focus on the protagonist but the world surrounding her. It is no secret that South Korea holds some of the largest numbers for mortality rate by suicide. Especially in the entertainment industry where things happen. I have no idea though as I am not Korean or an actor or what have you, still, the numbers do not lie. Following Han Yu-Na and her lose morals; we see what a vicious place the entertainment industry can be. I have to applaud the character though. She has excellent negotiation skills.

Title: “One and Only”- Worthy To Watch
”Cui Shi Yi” lost her ability to speak since childhood when her father departed, and it happened because of the departure of her father, and she has grown up like that. On the other hand, “Zhou Sheng Chen” was the bother of the emperor and raised by him, but for some reason, he left the emperor’s place and established himself as a loyal and accomplished general. “Zhou Sheng Chen” was so outstanding that he never lost a single war, and his popularity was at its peak.

Title: A Man Called Otto
So when I first sat down to watch the movie, I was prepared for a lighthearted comedy. What I experienced, however, was quite different— a film with sprinkles of humor and a number of dramatic elements. The story opens interestingly, centered around a grumpy old man, Otto, who seems constantly annoyed with life and the people around him.

Title: Dahmer
No, the series wasn’t made to make us sympathize with a killer. It was made to make us empathize with the neighbor who constantly heard the killer in the next apartment, called the cops, and they didn’t show up because she was Black. The series was made for the Black individuals who barely escaped, went to the police, and weren’t believed because of their skin color.
