John Wick Chapter 4 (2023) : A Symphony of Violence

Hello guys welcome to another review of an auction packed movie into the world of John Wick, about few days ago I made a review about the beginning part of this movie John wick 1 , so I finally finished the chapter 4 and I feel it will be great to share it with you guys.

Chad Stahelski once again, directed to action packed movie, a combination of bullets, blades , and overwhelming stunts.

When it comes to action packed movie, I am definitely a sucker , especially for the ones pushes the boundaries of possibilities and when it comes to this chapter 4 , I can actually assure you that it delivered in spades.

Right from the chapter 1 , I have always known the movie to be very innovative, especially When it comes to action sequences and I can assure you that the bar was even raised more higher in chapter 4 .

The Storyline

As a continuation from the previous chapter, Baba yaga declared a full blown war in the shadow government that rules the underground assassin world.

But this Time, the stakes are even more higher as the bounty placed on his Head became more bigger, this attracted even bigger and more dangerous assassins from the nukes and crannies.

At this point , John became more relentless and determined, he travels around the world Making allies, facing old enemies, confronting bee threat's with Fi force when necessary, all this in a way to survive.

A very high ranking member of the High Table known as Marquis de Gramont stared by Bill Skarsgård appeared to be the main antagonist .

His determination to eliminate John wick at all cost made him even more dangerous. He went as far as hiring more dangerous and evil assassins in other to achieve his goals , this made Me. Wick's way to freedom even more hard.

His quest to freedom , Mr. Wick came in contact with both friends and foes, Caine , stared by Donnie Yen is an old friend of John although blind, was forced to hunt him down.

Also, Shimazu , stared by Hiroyuki Sanada was a good sameritan who offered John sanctuary at his continental hotel.

From what I watched, I can boldly tell that the narrative presented in this movie is more than just an auction movie. We saw more of the lore of the universe of Baba yaga , giving us a clear view of the complex rules and tradition that guides the assassins world.

The cost of freedom , betrayal , and loyalty were also a vivid part of the movie.

My Thoughts on the Movie

This movie can be summarized as simply stunning and a very visual masterpiece. Almost all the fight scene can be said to be clear work of art.

The cinematography of the movies is also top notch as both the good and dark side of John wick were all captured at equal length.

The supporting cast played by Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Bill Skarsgård were very impressive

Although the center of attraction was the action , the moment of development of character reflection were also seen .

It is not just about physical survive, but a man determined to find peace in a world Fu of violence.

Not every scene were so intense as there also appeared to be times when slower moments were experienced but I believe they were all necessary to develop characters and set up actions.

Final Verdict

Chapter of 4 of John wick is a must watch for a movie enthusiast that really enjoy action packed movie. It leaves you wanting for more.
