One of my best friends' birthday is just a few days away, so I took my backpack and traveled to visit her and enjoy a few days with her.

Faltan pocos días para el cumpleaños de una de mis mejores amigas, por lo que tomé mi mochila y viajé para visitarla y disfrutar unos días con ella.

One of the things why I returned to live in the province of Buenos Aires is that I missed my friends a lot, and, although I am still quite far away from them, when I can, I take the opportunity to go visit them and stay a few days in their homes. I have almost 4 hours of travel, having to use different public transportation, and to be honest, it is a little exhausting, but when I finally arrive and receive that warm hug from my loved ones, every minute of the trip was worth it!

Una de las cosas por las cuales volví a vivir en la provincia de Buenos Aires, es que extrañaba mucho a mis amigos, y, si bien, sigo bastante alejado de ellos, cuando puedo, aprovecho para ir a visitarlos y quedarme unos cuantos días en sus hogares. Tengo casi 4 horas de viaje, teniendo que utilizar diferentes transportes públicos, y para serles honesto, es un poco agotador, pero cuando al fin llego y recibo ese cálido abrazo de mis seres queridos, cada minuto del viaje valió la pena!

The good thing about this trip is that many of my friends and some relatives live in the same area, where I grew up as a teenager, which is why every time I go to that city, I take the opportunity to visit each of them and stay a few days or two at their houses to make the most of all the time I can stay.

The month of October is when I spend the most time in that city, since several of my dearest friends celebrate their birthdays. In this post I want to tell you how nice we had the day before the birthday of one of my best friends, Gimena.

Lo bueno de este viaje es que muchos de mis amigos y algunos cuántos familiares viven en la misma zona, en dónde crecí en mi etapa adolescente, es por ello que cada vez que voy para esa ciudad, aprovecho a visitar a cada uno de ellos y quedarme unos o dos días en sus casas para aprovechar al máximo todo el tiempo que pueda quedarme.

El mes de octubre es cuando más tiempo paso en esa ciudad, ya que varios de mis amigos más queridos celebran sus cumpleaños. En este post les quiero contar lo lindo que pasamos el día previo al cumpleaños de una de mis mejores amigas, Gimena.

I arrived in the city of Wilde that same day after noon, the weather was beautiful, because the cold winter is over and spring is felt everywhere. On the trip it was quite hot, since public transport in Buenos Aires usually fills up with people no matter what time you travel.
Upon arrival, my friend was waiting for me with some cold beers and some delicious snacks to refresh us while we caught up telling each other about ourselves, and of course, the UNO game is never missing 🤭.

Llegué a la ciudad de Wilde ese mismo día después del mediodía, el clima era hermoso, pues se acabó el frio invierno y la primavera se siente por todas partes. En viaje fue bastante caluroso, pues los transportes públicos en Buenos Aires suelen llenarse de personas sea cuál sea el horario en el que viajes. Al llegar, mi amiga me estaba esperando con algunas cervezas bien frías y algunos deliciosos snacks para refrescarnos mientras nos poníamos al día contándonos sobre nosotros, y por supuesto, el juego del UNO nunca falta 🤭.

When night began to fall, we were already hungry, so I decided to start cooking while Gime looked for an interesting movie to watch while we had dinner.

I cooked a fairly inexpensive recipe, well, my friend wanted to celebrate her birthday in a bar the next day and we knew that in those places both drinks and food are quite expensive and the current economy of my country is not in a position to waste money, so you have to organize your expenses well.

Then I cooked pasta with sautéed tuna, onion, bell pepper and a little cream cheese, which was also delicious!

Cuando comenzó a caer la noche, ya teníamos hambre, por lo que decidí comenzar a cocinar mientras Gime buscaba alguna película interesante para ver mientras cenabamos.

Cociné una receta bastante económica, pues, mi amiga quería celebrar su cumpleaños en un bar al día siguiente y sabíamos que en esos lugares tanto las bebidas como la comida es bastante cara y la economía actual de mi país no está como para andar despilfarrando dinero, por lo que hay que organizar bien los gastos.

Entonces cociné pastas con un salteado de atún, cebolla, morrón y un poco de queso crema, que de igual manera resultó delicioso!

When dinner was ready, we sat down on the couch to be more comfortable and enjoy a movie. My friend chose "hell house", the truth is that I don't know which one we saw, because later we discovered that it is a saga of 3 films, but I have no idea if we saw the first, the sequel or the third installment 😅. Anyway, although there are moments when you get a little scared, to be honest I have a hard time concentrating on the "found footage" genre, since it makes me a little anxious when they don't leave the camera still 🤣.

Cuando la cena ya estaba lista, nos acomodamos en el sillón para estar más cómodos y disfrutar de alguna película. Mi amiga eligió "hell house", la verdad que no sé cuál es la que vimos, porque luego descubrimos que se trata de una saga de 3 films, pero no tengo idea si vimos la primera, la secuela o la tercer entrega 😅. De todas maneras, si bien hay momentos en los cuales te asustas un poco, para ser honesto me cuesta concentrarme en el género "found footage", ya que me genera un poco de ansiedad que no dejen quieta la cámara 🤣.

We had a beautiful day to tell the truth, as enjoyable as every time I go to her house to visit her. We laugh a lot, we talk for long periods of time, we eat delicious food and we always enjoy a movie or a series. Every moment is pleasant and I am extremely grateful to be able to share days like this with the people I love most ♥️.

The next day we celebrated his birthday, but I will leave it for another post since there is a lot to tell 😊.

Pasamos un hermoso día a decir verdad, tan disfrutable como cada vez que voy a su casa a visitarla. Nos reímos mucho, conversamos durante largos ratos, comemos rico y siempre disfrutamos de una película o alguna serie. Cada momento es grato y agradezco enormemente poder compartir días como éste con las personas que mas quiero ♥️.

Al día siguiente celebramos su cumpleaños, pero lo dejaré para otro post ya que hay mucho para contar 😊.
